Personally, I see it as a micro-transaction that has no place being in a paid game, but eh, whatever floats your boat. Or in this case, flies your rocket car.
They need to keep the servers up somehow, pay employees etc. I completely understand the hate for loot boxes because of the addiction factor, but this is not randomized. They need to make money somehow. Can't keep updating the game for free.
Correct me if i'm seeing things, but they sell DLC on a regular basis, as well as lootbox keys. The revenue appears to be enough. They were bandwagon chasing, nothing more.

Quoting: mirohitman 2 of course, in my opinion it is a shame that it was not a day1 simultaneous release.
I guess the denuvo copy protection details prevented management from even considering a port until some time has passed.

GTA 5 is surely too much to ask ;D
For the record, Denuvo was removed from the first game when GOTY edition rolled around (and the MacOS and Liunux port were already out), so Denuvo has nothing to do with a porting decision. Stop treating Denuvo as a scapegoat until you have actual hard evidence.

Game developer revokes a user's Steam key after negative review

> This does make another interesting case for DRM free games outside of Steam, since a developer can't just take away your ability to play it. While a DRM free store could remove the game from you, you're still able to fully back it up yourself.

Subtle.

I'm guessing Hitman 2. The first level is set in miami. It being near the beach means seagulls are a thing.
