Minecraft: Story Mode for Linux never got released, even though it was “ready”

Telltale has never ever answered any of my support tickets, despite asking them huge number of time, one of the question was why does they not sell the translated versions of sam & max seasons. I mean they hired translators so why wouldn't they sell the translated ones anywhere?

Good news, the game already works like a charm, and is very beautiful.

Valve limit key requests from developers if it isn't "worth the cost"

Sounds like typical greedy Valve.
sounds more like huge of money lost due to g2a.

Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"
18 Aug 2017 at 9:09 pm UTC

Yes in 2014 it was saying soon linux. 3 years laters it's not a priority and they remove the info, I can only tranlate it by: "go buy your linux games on steam" which is sad. It is a better benefit for the gamers in the end if they support linux and let's say vulkan for cyberpunk 2017 rather than going full microsoft dx12, which is a total contradiction with their drm free philosophy.

It does not mean they are not working on it, but it does look engaging either.

Same for me I don't need the client, and for me it's quite an easy excuse to say sudden trike 4 will not be on linux until galaxy client is released because they have no clear plan for it.

Steam now has over 3,500 games for Linux, with GOG having over 700

It's not all about the number, but also the force we represent. It's surely an example which favor linux gamers as all games are compatible with linux. But still... % of users does not stand for the equivalent of potential buyers. We have less game (we use to have almost none) but this kind of graphs shows that we also are generous with studio actually take linux into account. As our overall base users is lower, triple AAA games should be consider carefully for studio willing to port those. But for most indie games it does not take much effort to bring it on our platform. It's in everyone best interest to see linux marketshare rising. Windows 10 is just a mid term investment for owning both users software and hardware, and this is by no mean a good thing contrary to some people playing on windows and coming in every linux thread to say no one should ever consider playing on linux.

pdm stands for marketshare data available for this bundle.

The 1.50% markethsare for this one almost stand for half the donation given 91% of desktop users (windows users).

What games do you want ported to Linux? Feral Interactive want to know again

Any of these games: Witcher 3, GTA V, Quake Champions, Rainbow Six Siege, Rayman Origins, Bayonetta HD, NieR: Automata, Tomb Raider Underworld , Rise of Tomb Raider, Mirror's Edge, Fifa 2017, Deus Ex: HR, Dishonored 1 or 2, Prince of persia 1,2 or 3. The Nomad Soul, Anachronox, Outcast, The Longuest Journey, Trackmania 2, A Batman game (no telltale) No One Lives Forever 1 or 2 (just kidding :p), Sonic Generations (Havok), A Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat game.

In general they pick good games, so I'm quite confident with their choice.

-Shogun 2
-Day of the Tentacle remastered
-Shadow warrior 2013 (completed and really enjoyed it)
-Mad Max (for the pleasure of the eyes and hears with perfect 5.1 support)
-Hidden Folks (for my niece, don't tell anyone I play it alone sometime :p)

-Owlboy (completed, great game but sometime quite hard)

I'm glad you enjoyed the review but, just FYI, I'm way more handsome than Liam so it's not that hard to tell us apart

Thanks Liam for that interesting review. I haven't purchased the game yet. But it convinced me to do so. It's not a problem for me if the story is short, as generally old lucas arts point & clic games take quite some time to be completed. It also seems to be quite different from other Tim Schaffer games. Would be also glad to support Double Fine and Cheeseness for his excellent work on linux for the previous ports and apparently this one too.
