They looks maybe too clean indeed if you played the old version. But what I like with double fine, is that they do not completly change the design, they just make it not pixelated. On the opposite Monkey Island 1 & 2 completly changed their design, and I did not enjoyed it at all (appart from the soundtrack rework). It was way too cartoonish/disney as opposed to their original version, which in 1990's were more designed like movies with realistic but yet poetic graphics. But thanks to these editors we can play it retro way.

I Spent about 200hours on Dirt Rally. I expect to spend at least 200 more on the linux version^^.
Dirt Rally is quite realistic, I haven't tried with all assists enabled. But One detail I can give, is that it is almost as punishing as real driving. Your car won't get totally destroyed (unless full speed straight on a rock), but you will loose a lot of time, and rally is all about time attack.
Although I recommend not to look so much at the timers. Instead just enjoy the ride and the different cars otherwise it may become frustrating if you try hard too much. The roads are all good choices from Codemaster Racing Studio, and you will only get better with practice.
The feeling while driving is very good even on a xbox pad (especially as you can feel the vibrations from the rear of the car.) This game made me purchase a wheel, and I don't regret it although it was a big budget for me (g29+shifter for 290€ promotion). It took me quite a while to find the settings to make the game feel natural driving and I will post my setups once the game is out.
Looking forward to that port. Peace

've bought a used Logitech Driving Force GT for around 60 € last year and couldn't be happier. It works out-of-the-box with GRID Autorsport and F1 2015. I believe it has the best cost/benefit of the market (top-tier wheels like the G25, G27 and G29 will set you back quite a few hundred bucks) and is a great option for your first wheel. The only thing I miss about it is a clutch pedal. You are right it was the best price/value on the market (1 year ago it was around 90€ for a new one). It tends to disappear and Logitech hasn't announced a replacement for it. The price has raised way too much (around 150€ for that model now). I would not really know which one to advice today.

Deep inside myself, I was hoping for that news to one day come on gamingonlinux :))))
I just need witcher 3 now to get definitely rid of windows^^.
I already own the game, but I will buy it a second time of course. My personnal game of the year of 2015, and favorite car game by far. Does anyone knows if my racing wheel G29 will work on linux?

I'm surprised for the best audio, I interpreted it as best audio quality, not necessarily best soundtrack. Deus Ex was the most surprising game I've ever heard on linux, in terms of quality of the audio source. Mad Max was already quite good on that aspect, but wouldn't thought of Life if strange ^^

For me this game is all about the way musics is played through each places. Séphane Picq has done amazing work on this game, and also on earlier title Dune (1992). Adlib version is gold :p

You summed it up right Keyrock. Is more than a tribute to Commando, it is an excellent game by itself. I have played the demo and will buy it asap. I really doubt people enjoying tactics game can dislike this one, especially as there is a demo.

Hehe I love the way you put the two game next to each other with the two screenshots. You see a cockpit view of stunt island, and then you see a crashed plane in Indiana Jones and the Lost Crusade ^^
For those playing on modern resolutions such as full HD or more, I suggest to use the 2xsai or super2xsai scaler as these game were played on 14 or 15" with tiny resolutions. They were definitly not looking like pixel porridge at the time.

I have to add football manager 2017 also on linux again. I went to a store in France called "La Fnac", where you can find all the commercial books, dvd and video games. And in the small PC stock (with only overwatch, Dishonered 2, Quantum Break and very few other title) there was Football Manager 2017 with a tux icons along microsoft and mac! It is completly unbelievable and made my afternoon to see this logo in such place.
