What about H1Z1 King of the kill , Arma 3 Battle Royale mode?
They were standing there long before of PUBG.

Quoting: meggermanlol if this happens the developer of PUBG is going to get even more enraged.Wut?!?!?

That's right, not the assets or the art or the music .. the actual idea. Because last man standing was his idea he invented battle royale
And yes he is referring to being able to copyright a derivative work. I.e if the very first FPS idea (lets say wolfenstien 3D) was copyrighted we would only ever of had ONE FPS ever due to that copyright. That's why movies and music allow for derivative works to be allowed.
Sold 25 million copies. I guess greed knows no bounds.

Quoting: lucifertdarkSo does anyone know which games take advantage of this new feature? or is this more of a case of all games will use it no matter what? For my case , it is mostly related to Cs:Go.

So when he was saying " I don't need money , i just want to help games come to Linux " , he was obviously talking about small games ; alas people just kept dreaming 3d games and slightly bigger games than End Is Nigh.

Quoting: MohandevirIt's probably been proposed many times already, but why not contact Icculus, Timothee Besset or other porters to help them, if they are unable to do it themselves?!Icculus is ( no offense , he is a great guy ) just helping small indie 2d games now.

Steam now has a form of platform-specific wishlisting, to help developers see demand

Quoting: Smoke39I'm not sure how useful this will be. It doesn't count people who dual boot but prefer Linux, and people who don't know about this feature may not bother wishlisting games they can't play (personally, I use the "follow" function for games I'm hoping get ported, and only wishlist them if and when they do). I kinda feel like this could actually make demand look even smaller than it actually is.Agreed , since i was only wishlisting games with an actual port but if this can help a bit ; why not?

Quoting: wleoncioSuch good news! I did notice my performance in Deus Ex:MD dropping from 30-60 fps to 5-15 fps after a driver update about a month ago, but I was too lazy to downgrade or to report the bug.Wow , this sounds massive. I think you should at least comment on there , just get over your laziness this time :D
