I just wish I could buy keys so I didn't have to add "friends" to gift the game.
Might have to hire a private detective that checks if ppl only plays it on Linux anyway though :P

Paradox are now doing their own game client for downloads, cloud saves, statistics and so on

I'm fine with simple clients for installing and updating games. To me, Steam is just a massive pile of crap as I don't have any interest in 90% of the features it have. I even liked the good old EA downloader :P

Slime Rancher already has a pretty sweet post-launch update with maps

Even though there are better looking WW2 RTS games I just love the style and sounds of Sudden Strike.

I would not have a problem doing it like Kickstarter, pledge money, get a refund if there's no Linux version.
Then I wouldn't have to check up on games and have to follow them to see if we get a Linux version, and the devs knows if it'l be worth it or not.

I do feel that the navigation stuff etc. should've been in there before leaving EA, but I also like the challenge of actually learning maps like the old days :D

Looks cool and I liked that music in the trailer.

I could actually buy it for the nice (Steam) forum guy they have. Great attitude and follow-ups. I'm amazed.

Re:Legend's concept was conceived around December 2015 and we were actually half way through the development. Back then the project had another name and we had poured so much time and effort into it that some of us had our health crippled. But in the end, it was cancelled due to our investor's financial difficulties and more than a year worth of effort was flushed down the drain and destroyed before our very eyes. That was the darkest time of our life and all of us were so lost that we had no idea what to do anymore.

Shortly after the cancellation of the previous project, we put a lot of thought into it and we decided that we had ventured too far to give up on the game, especially after it became one of the top Square Enix Collective projects. It would have been a shame to disappoint those who had taken their time and voted for us during the campaign―it is thanks to them that Re:Legend exists today.

We strove to achieve the same result we had with our previous project ever since, and to our delight, Re:Legend is currently the best supported project in Square Enix Collective's history. In fact, we didn't just meet our goal but surpassed it several times over. To everyone who voted for us, you guys are really awesome! We couldn't have made it without your help.

After the major success of our Square Enix Collective campaign, we realized that Re:Legend has huge potential and we want to make it the best it can be. Expectations were really high from you guys and we figured that it would be impossible for our tiny team to fulfill them. This is why we're starting this campaign: To realize the full potential of the game!
