I can't get a connection to the game. I started playing Artifact again. A fantastic card game by Richard Garfield and Valve.

But in the end I'm happy that Valve is so successful with Underlords. I like Valve because of the fantastic Linux support.

EDIT: But thank you for keeping us up to date. Maybe I'll look at Underlords again.

Looking at the benchmarks between DXVK, Feral ports and Windows is sometimes almost more fun than playing. ;)

You can't blame Feral for not doing product care.

It's also interesting to see how hard it already seems to be to outbid the performance of DXVK with a native port. They may have used DXVK as a base and only optimized it for SOM?

At the same time I wonder why Feral is working on an old game. Most people might already own the game through one of the countless sales (I do). Of course, Feral is certainly one of those companies with a lot of enthusiasm and passion for their work. But in the end each of us has to earn money.

I wonder if this might have something to do with Stadia, too? The game should now run better under Linux than under Windows. Feral has an exquisite catalogue of Linux games that have not yet been announced for Stadia.

The late release date may not be a coincidence. There may be a strong connection with the Stadia version of the game. I have written down my thoughts here:

Not bad and not great, just playable. Waiting for my new 5700XT I've ordered and then around january, I'm changing the rest of the computer.

Thank you. I also have a GTX 970 and I'm about 40 fps. Last I had the impression that the camera sometimes jumps. Hard to describe. Could also be related to the Steam Controller. Nier: Automata stutters a little bit in some areas. But still playable. Must try it again.

Makes sense to wait for any fixes for the Rockstar Launcher before the update. The GTAV proton bug thread is very active trying to figure out why some people can run the launcher no problem and others are having issues.

The Elite Dangerous Launcher was also a cramp at first set up. We have reached a point where we have more problems with the launchers than with the games. :)
