That's actually a project I contributed to, a few years back
PeppermintOS's main developer, Mark Greaves, passed away in 2019 and I stopped using the distro, so I've not heard back recently.

wpa_supplicant works with EAP, at least for eduroam(the worldwide federated university WiFi network). At least when used through network manager, unless Ubuntu has something hardwired to take care of that edge case

AMD needs a year of leadership to improve their own financial situation. Right now Intel's cash reserves are similar to AMD's yearly profits. And it looks like they will get at least a year, more if they can get APUs to be chiplet based and USB4 support in their motherboards.

Even PRIME support was expanded to allow PRIME Synchronization when using displays driven by the x86-video-amdgpu driver as PRIME display offload sinksSo they noticed more and more laptops sold with AMD APU and Nvidia dGPUs. Good.
support for displays connected to NVIDIA GPUs to act as PRIME display offload sinks, also known as "Reverse PRIME"Does that mean Reverse Prime in On-Demand mode? As in HDMI ports will now work in On Demand mode and not require a restart? That would be amazing!

One factor could be people trying to install Zoom/Teams/whatever on Windows XP/Vista/Unpatched 7 and finding they have to replace it with something newer for their video conferencing tool to work. Ubuntu is the default for those users.
NetMarketShare's statistics don't support that though: Vista was flat, XP grew, Windows 7 lost 0.5%, Windows 8 lost 0.1%, Windows 8.1 lost 0.5% Windows 10 lost 1%.

That's really good news! MacOS also rose by 1%, while Windows fell from 89% to 87%, showing a part of the degree to which corporate usage inflates it.

I'd assume it would be easiest to convert ActionScript to Haxe with something like https://github.com/HaxeFoundation/as3hx [External Link]. Haxe used to be able to compile to AS, with comparable or better performance. Therefore some Flash developers already used it, and when Flash was sunset that's how the conversion project started.
