Quoting: AsavarTzethOkay, since still nobody else have said it, I will. I downloaded the game (missing executable), several weeks ago.

I cannot confirm anything, but the files you get look a lot like the ones you get with the eON wrapped The Witcher 2. I think we can quite safely assume that they let VP do it for Linux when they did it for Mac.
I pray the gods you're wrong.
Putting up with that piece of crapware once was largely enough for this lifetime. :/
Quoting: micmonplease no eON please no eON please no eON..........
You guys must be living under a rock. eON has matured quite well and is now able to run the witcher 2 almost flawlessly. I understand eON's launch was shady, but things have changed...for the better. +1 to using eON for future ports.

Feral Interactive Wish To Know Why You Game On Linux

1) It's a community project that's almost impossible to be laden with NSA back doors, etc. Sure one or two developers could be corrupt, but the nature of Linux allows no change to go UN-noticed or unapproved.

2) It's free and always will be

3) The Internet, Stock Markets, super computers, and a majority of consumer electronics all run on Linux.

4) Why not?

The Witcher 2 Gains Yet Another Performance Beta

Just did some testing of my own. Gnome shell and arch linux on my 4710MQ and 860M is able to play this game on ultra (uber off) and well above 60FPS.

Just a suggestion, but what's your performance without SLI? I wonder if just having the one card would improve your performance as a 580 (in Windows) should be able to max this game out.

Liam, I understand you're upset with people criticizing your system etc, but we're really just trying to demonstrate our experiences.

Back in the day I was able to Fully max this game out (Uber on) with my 560 TI at 1600x900, so I wouldn't even call Mid 30fps acceptable, even if it is on Linux.

Also, It might be worthwhile to compare performance on different distros etc. Just my 2 cents, but please don't turn off the comments.

Darksiders 2 Confirmed For Linux

Quoting: scaineCan't comment on the second, since I'd ditched Windows by the time it came out, but I played the first via PS3's rental deal... what was it called? Playstation Plus?

The first game is phenomenal. Up there with God of War, but surpassing that game in terms of combat, if not production value. Even there, it has incredible quality.

It's a console port, remember, and should be played as such - with a controller. If you do, I'm pretty certain you'll enjoy it. One of my favourite games of all time - certainly an easy Top Twenty contender and maybe even in the Top Ten.
Defiantly a controller-only game.
