The ragnarok map problems are a steam (client) issue, I guess... The steam store says I have it installed (4/4), the steam library says I have all dlc's installed 3/3 ... The directory structure says it is installed in Mods/Ragnarok, next to Mods/thecenter...
This happens to windows users too.

I assume graphical glitches will be fixed when they are going to implement the vulkan renderer. I think a lot of these glitches will already be gone with an upgrade of UE4, which they might do, but that's an immense amount of work, so they will postpone that as long as possible.
Another bug is that since v257 the music doesn't work, especially the war music.
If you hear yourself saying oeh ah uh and you see red flashes, chances are something is biting your behind without you noticing it.

I tried it a few times a few years ago. I actually gave up, as it was either starve to death or get bitten. Compared to Ark at it's early stages, ark definitely ruled as it had a lot to survive in the early stages. Maybe I should try again in a few months. At least what I have seen on steam broadcast is so much better than it used to be.
I love it when "EA" really works out.

The moment they offer or are planning single player options I'm in. I loved Heavy Gear 2, and I would want to play that again.
EVERSPACE to launch without Linux support, NVIDIA driver bugs are part of the problem

That hurts if you have a steam machine (i.e. not upgradable to radv capable cards).
So no 4k for me (I get stable 4k from a R9-270 though), and no vulkan.

Quoting: EhvisIs it really a driver bug? Or is it an Unreal Engine bug? Most problems I have graphics wise are all nvidia driver bugs.

SR 2 is awesome, and the fun part, while being the port of the windows port, it behaves a lot better than the windows version assuming any windows version < 10.
You do need to install the audio pack (see github), as some of the audio cannot be played.
VP got a black box to "port", the original sources are *lost*, even the studio that owns the game does not have the sources anymore.
So yes, all the windows bugs are expected, but they are exhibited less than on windows.
I was sad when I finished the story :-(.
SR4 worked on fglrx, so I assume SR2 works on that too, although I replaced my intel/ati steam desktop with a dedicated steam machine (nvidia), and that seems to work even better. (wine doesn't really work on steamos :-( )
SR2 works fine with a steam controller.

Feral have patched the Vulkan Beta of Mad Max again, another look at performance with benchmarks

I have now beta running 375.26, and even that doesn't change a single thing...
How many video outputs do you have?

Quoting: dubigrasuActually some games should already be working with 367 it was on steamos?Quoting: fabry92Sry why steamos isn't supported? I can't run serious Sam vulkan too :(Probably the driver is too old? I run SteamOS too and I see no issues, but I install latest drivers myself.

There is a new Heavy Gear (also for linux), but that's online online multiplayer, but looks like the original Heavy Gear.

Quoting: morbiusWhat other Mech game is there for Linux?Heavy Gear 2 was awesome...
I played and quite liked Hawken back in my Windows days, I wouldn't mind having something like that.

First-person puzzler 'Quern - Undying Thoughts' now available on GOG with a Linux build, some thoughts
11 Apr 2017 at 8:50 am UTC
I have played quern a few months ago (it was already out for linux on steam), and I think quern has a bigger story, also looks great, but due to lack of time I had to pause it. (Not sure if that was EA, I think not, so I am a bit surprised with the article :-) ).
You need a pen and paper to write down the hints though.

Quoting: tuubiHaven Moon looks gorgious (did I spell that right?), but is rather on the short side. I do hope the developer continues the engine with more content.Quoting: rustybroomhandleAnother game in this genre on Steam for Linux is Haven Moon. http://store.steampowered.com/app/493720/ [External Link]Oh nice, thanks! I don't think I've ever heard of that one before.
