Assault Android Cactus just had a big free update, continuing my love of this twin-stick shooter

Quoting: GuestOh, I do own that one, from one of the Humble Bundles!
Didn't get warm with it though - likely because I largely s**k at most of those twin-stick shooters.

So I definitely have to try this new auto-aim feature (although I for sure don't fall in the 'younger audience' class :dizzy: )
If you have a steam controller lying around I highly recommend trying to play with it you have no idea how much the touchpad can help tremendously on this one.

Psyonix, creator of Rocket League is joining Epic Games (updated)

I fucking hope you'll come back with good news Liam , because for real losing Rocket League would be more than just a slap in the face for Linux gamers especially with how troublesome porting to Linux was already in the first place for them .

I mean come on we almost all bought it and I know more than a few Linux gamers who did purchase some skins in the store ...

Well I just tweeted you about the article from The Verge seems like I was not the only one , thanks for doing the fact checking because throwing that rumor on the other hand scares me up a bit.

I'm already worried that them joining the Epic Store will mean them migrating Rocket League to UE4 , and let's face it UE4 on Linux has real bad performance it chugs like a motherfucker ...

The Linux-powered Atari VCS is getting upgraded to AMD Ryzen, shipping dates pushed back

Quoting: Geppeto35ly fear is that this kind of project will add one argument more to Linux detractors against our OS as suitable for gaming, which should affect us all at GOL
This also fucking this .
This entire Atari box affair has been announced way to early is poorly handled , surfs on the popularity of crowdfunding systems right now and although they seem to be painstainkingly taking good design decisions at long last ... Well as just said "AT LONG LAST" took them a fucking while to start having a somewhat sensical and sensible communication.
And again as far as we can judge so far it's just in prototyping phases ...

Even the Dragon Pyra is further along in its developement ...

Quoting: TheSyldatto prove him wrong with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY ...
It's funny to write "Absolute certainty" here : Pierre should first prove he is "absolutely right". It's a beautiful - how do you say that in english ? - Reverse Onus ?

Anyway, obviously, he was wrong about many claims :

-The VCS is not just an android box
-It is not just a retro box (to "play asteroid and old atari titles")
-It can run Linux games (See the 7th update [External Link]) so he was also wrong about the number of available games (a big problem according to him).
-It will have a Ryzen APU.

But, of course, if your point is just "It's a scam, Atari is lying", you'll always be right. We can easily play this game : "maybe Atari will deliver a Raspberry pi with retroarch", and "maybe you will get a serving of cheese with baguette" (after all it's french now, and cheese is expensive, so you will get your money back...).
Congratulations that amount of bad faith on your part is so big that you just landed yourself on the mute list ...

Especially given that the article by Pierre Lecourt that was linked didn't say any of the above

I dunno what article you're referring to but you're obviously not talking about the one originally provided ...

So as with any bad faith mofos of your ilk on the mute list you go .

Pierre Lecourt bashing ... yeah right obviously we frenchies have a very different way of performing bashing and voicing concerns than you dude ...

First off the article is tame compared to what other french outlets said , second of all it's mother effin' Pierre Lecourt if this guy calls you out you pipe down until you have something to show for to prove him wrong with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY ...

Quoting: riusmaThere's also State of Mind (a good story-driven game if you don't mind linear & dirigiste gameplay) with this kind of aesthetic... :)
State of mind does have some "animated origami" trappings yes but they toned it waaay down it's mostly the characters that have it . While the rest of the world is more of a direct representation.

Here we're legit seeing just like in Orwell the whole world is like that.

We The Revolution look like they took Osmotic Studios "animated origami" home made plugins to the next level ...

( Legit it looks like Orwell season 1 and 2 taken to new heights )

So now I'm intrigued especially with a game making you play a "judge of the people" during the terror ...
