Can't wait to try this! I'm a huge Serious Sam fan, been one since day one. So is my wife. And the kids. I hope they have a 4 pack with a decent rebate at launch so I don't have to pay full price for the whole family.

It's not my experience, maybe they do it a little, but usually when you clear them and drive well enough, they don't catch up if you are faster than them. The problem is also moot when you are playing multiplayer, as its usually all real players in the front.

Such a shame. This is the best racing game ever. Nothing else comes close. I have not played the sequel as its never been on Steam, but from watching videos, it doesn't look better than the first game. I suspect the first game on Steam might still sell better than the sequel on EGS.

Having dumped CS for Urban Terror in the past because I found it more fun and I like the whole mag reload thing, I'm tempted to give this version of CS a try.

I heard that game is now full of morons screaming stupid stuff on voice, is it true and should I stay on basic text comms?

Great, now it will be super easy for scammers to target children. Imagine what the ad industry will do with this. Targeting toys and fast fashion ads to the most vulnerable (fews kids can ignore ads and they have yet to develop defense systems against ads). That's totally crazy.

The expansion is 25$ on Battle.net. I'm going to wait until they either give us a way to get the Steam version for cheap if we own the Battle.net version (unlikely to ever happen unfortunately...) or until there's a sale where its cheaper to buy it off Steam than buy the expansion on Battle.net (which probably means years of waiting). I'm glad its finally on Steam, but I don't want to pay for the game twice.

Edit: actually, that would be the third time, I bought the original on release day in the 90s.

A 57% increase from a low number still results in a low number. I'm all for competition but I have zero interest in EGS and all the drama around it. I'm not creating an account there no matter how many games they give away.
