I too have been avoiding stuff that use npm like the plague... turns out it was not an excess of paranoia. 😆

Back at release for early accesss it was playing very well on a 5600x with a lowly 1660ti at 3440x1440 for me. Now there's more optimisations... Performance is great.

After having played a few Unreal engine 5 games, I decided not to buy more UE5 games. Performance is crap even on high end hardware and the mostly forced use of upscalers or TSR make the games blurry or full of artifacts. Not fun at all. Recent UE5 games are barely playable on my rx 9070. I can rarely get more than 60-70 fps at 3440x1440 without resorting to editing engine.ini files to disable a bunch of useless crap, and even then I barely get to 90-100 fps. Most of those games graphics do not justify such low performance. I bet UE6 will make it even worse.

I have no trust in Discord. I'll keep running it in my web browser thank you. No way I'm running an app for that.

Soooo... if its fully repairable and easy to work on, it should be pretty easy to get rid of the haptic motors. That would lighten the controller considerably. I know other controllers won't work without their damned motors. Is it the case with the Steam controller? Anyone wants to try it before I buy one? 😁

I think a lot of people here are overthinking it. This isn't going to be published in a scientific journal. See it like a fun little experiment. For a while now we've seen that the linear trend line doesn't fit the data. The exponential trend line fits the data much better (though its not perfect and doesn't need to be). The growth is closer to an exponential curve right now, which is great and fun to know. It will change at some point of course. It may even go down back to 1% (certainly hope not!), then no simple trend line will explain the data. Which is ok. Let's have some fun and not try to model the (very imperfect) data too seriously.

Great, the exponential trend line follows the data a lot better. It's more representative than the linear one.

I hope the Canadian pricing is an error... because 99$ USD is roughly 135$ in CAD right now... not 149$.

Quoting: JarmerThe Invincible is so good.Agreed, its not really a game, being so linear and with limited choices, but damn, what a ride, it was so good. It's more like an interactive movie, and a very good one.
