Valheim testing a Unity upgrade with lots of optimizations

It happened to my son, its related to alt-tabbing and switching from windowed to full screen. It keeps the windowed resolution for pointing and everything is off, go in the graphics configuration and set the resolution to the real one. It fixed it for him instantly.

Quoting: nwildnerValheim has an annoying bug that when playing in any higher than 1080p resolution, it produces some weird inventory location errors, and mouse is misaligned with the inventory. Worst case mouse will not be able to reach your inventory because it expects your pointer to be way inside the right border of the monitor.

Instead of adding more random things with wildly different theme and feel to make Minecraft more of a mess, they should have added this a looooooooooooong time ago instead. They also really need to fix the awful combat system.
Even so late, its a plus, I don't remember the last time I checked the changes to Minecraft and thought something was great.

Ah cr*p, does it mean they can't make any more Shadowrun games because Paradox still own the license?

I'd agree with you if the new controls brought new functionalities/features, or were significantly better than the old ones... but its only for looks. The correct way to do this would be for Valve to allow you to customize your Deck from the factory (yeah, yeah, I know its not that easy...), ideally using the parts from the small business as an option.

Quoting: LoftyCan't we just have nice things. The amount of plastic these things use is fractional compared with other products available on the market. Not only that but buying these is supporting an individual with a cottage industry and not some giant mega corporation.

Budgie 10.8 desktop released with plenty of new features

If you want an honest opinion from a long time XFCE user... I moved to Budgie a few years ago. For a while in Xubuntu a lot of things were broken, notably the damned keyboard switcher applet that kept breaking every few years, to then be ignored and not fixed for years at a time. I don't remember what other problems I had, but XFCE was getting neglected badly back then. I tried Budgie, it wasn't instant love, it needed a lot of tweaking, but it was every bit as fast as XFCE and didn't get in my way, just like XFCE. Every once in a while I check the progress on XFCE and hope to get back, but I keep Budgie because it just works, even though its not perfect.
Honestly, I think XFCE's pretty much done, there's little development efforts going on (only a few very dedicated devs who have no way of keeping up with modern desktop development pace). Unless a lot of people decide to work on it, or a lot of funding magically materializes, its not likely to be in any usable state on Wayland soon, and that's probably what is going to kill it.
So, there you have it. In my opinion Budgie is not better than XFCE at all. It just happens to be in a better working state.

There are plenty of options in Budgie, but they are scattered around in multiple places. For some tweaks you must use dconf too. While I've been using it for a while and got used to it, I think it could use a settings overhaul.

Yeah, the game has been fixed, bugs were rare in 1.6x and the game crashed on me only once in my over 60h play time. Glad I waited to buy it, hopefully the expansion won't be so buggy, but I'm going to wait until its a bit cheaper, it will give them some time to bugfix it. :)
