The developer of strategy game 'TINY METAL' has said Linux is a 'priority'

OK , I want to let people know about this.
Seems this game was funded through a false Kickstarter from another game:

Well cinematic trailers tell us barely anything.
And that game play trailer linked in the article hardly sets off a spark.
Seems like a standard fare RPG maker game. I hope I will be proven wrong and it has a good story/writing.

Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth - Book 2 'Sowing the Wind' is now out

I like they are releasing all these books as one game rather than breaking it up and charging people extra.
Will probably pick it up when all the books are out to play it from one end to the other.
(Just hope I remember Nemo's comment till then)

Castle Story had a big update, testing to see if they've turned it around

I was surprised this did not die like Towns or Spacebase DF-9.
I recall this being one of the first Early Access titles I saw on steam and was tempted by back in the day.

Seems it is struggling to stay alive at this point.

Quoting: rkfgEDIT: completely unrelated, but after this much time the devs have to learn to set realistic deadlines on KS. They always require 2x-3x time they promised initially, no exceptions, it happens to everyone, everywhere, all the time (me included)! It's December already and they planned Early Access in November, now it's pushed to March. But it's so much better to plan it on, say, July 2018 and instead deliver earlier! Not that I don't have anything to play in the meanwhile and of course I'm not complaining, but it's still surprising.
Basic rule of thumb I learned in networking, always assume a change will take 4 times the amount of time you think it will.
Things can , and WILL go wrong :)

Kinda sad.
Was hoping to buy this for X-mas sale for my mates , but if it's broken and I can't play with them , then ... oh well.

Bystander, a game that looks similar to Papers, Please adds Linux support

I kinda agree with some people here. Looks almost TOO similar to Papers please.
And without any of the people we saw in Papers Please it feels too disconnected. I have no reason to care about any of those messages. Feel ... detached.
