Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTSo Dota will become a mix of HOTS and LOL? Please not. :'(
HOTS is much more casual for comparison

They'd have to remove gold and the shop completely
Give the team a shared XP bar
Remove the inventory
And actually add more than one map :D
Yeah, how about they don't do that. Not every game needs to be the same thing.
Relax - was just making fun of the HOTS comparison.

Quoting: SamsaiThe only positive thing I can really say about World of Castles is that it has plenty of shatters.
Where's my damn T-shirt ? :D

The Fallout-inspired 'ATOM RPG' will launch on into Early Access next month with Linux support (updated)

Hmm , looks nice.
Hope the story and world are up to par.
My only gripe is the voice actor in the trailer. If his English is not so good he could do the voice over in Russian - if I recall the game was set in Eastern Europe. Would add to the atmosphere.

THQ Nordic is bringing Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy to Linux

Hmm , Unless wikipedia is wrong , this would also mark the first PC port as it seems it was initially only on Consoles.

I know it's Kickstarter , I know it might never be released or they might cancel Linux support , but for the life of me I don;t understand why but I am tempted to be a Drunken NPC.

Quoting: MayeulCThe killer feature of this release is android support, really!

It runs pretty well on my phone, and that could be pretty amazing to throw a phone LAN party with some friends :)
(that is, once network games work)
Does the loser rage-toss his phone at the winner ?? :D

Wine 3.0 expected this year with Direct3D 11, roadmap for future releases includes OpenGL Core contexts
30 Oct 2017 at 9:01 pm UTC

Quoting: GuestDon't worry next January some (non)tech website will say it anyway: "Wine 3.0 is out and ready to disappoint you again."

Honestly I feel a little guilty that I haven't donated for the Wine project yet. I enjoyed so many older games that I though I could never play because I choose to use only Linux. I use it only for games as I don't use any special software, but I am really surprised how many games I can play.
What site would that be ?
I feel like I'm living under a rock. Are some outlets bashing wine on purpose ?

Plutocracy is a game about wealth, power and corruption and it's coming to Linux

Seems interesting.
Curios how it actually plays and if it would suit my fancy.
Will wait for some gameplay vids before I decide but color me impressed.

Samsai had a blast playing this ... when he realized he could kill all the NPCs in the starting area that were friendly towards you .
