Soma is not so bad dude :P
Makes some good philosophical questions up , but it is not as scary as Amnesia or Alien Isolation.
It is atmospheric and creepy though.

Maybe I am taking things a bit extreme but I prefer to be safe than sorry.

Quoting: NeoTheFoxWhile true , the same can be said of Early Access games on steam. They have a functional "game" but you have no guarantee it will come out (ever). That's my hesitation and after being burned a few times I am more cautious.Quoting: razing32Looks interesting but I am weary of EA and kickstarters.Well you pretty much have to use your common sense with Kickstarter - this game actually has a working demo, and it means that they have all the necessary skills to make a finished game.
Would be interested when it comes out.

Quoting: g000hDispleased!!!!That's odd dude.
I own(ed) Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander on Steam, and following this change, my game has disappeared. It's not in my account any more.
Hope it reappears soon! (Been hunting around for emails / purchase details, but that hasn't worked out so far.)

I'm just playing Pyre hoping to finish story mode. Got to parts of the endgame so curios how the story gets wrapped up.
Also , I always squeeze some time in for Hearts of Iron 4. Between mods and official content and all the branching paths that come with each , it is great fun. I always end up playing a lot longer than I initially intended.

I kind of echo the sentiment of other people
Card games are a thing now , Hearthstone , Gwent and now Artifact. Easy to learn ,hard to master, free to play but with incentive to throw all your money at them. Corporations go where profit is after all.
Would be nice if they are accessible to non-big spenders but power creep has a tendency to invalidate that.

I'' admit the combination does sound intriguing. Would like a more in depth review of how it plays though.

It does have one other retro feature, where you can only save the game in specific places. I'll be honest, those types of save systems always spoil a game for me. I want to play a game at my leisure and save whenever I want. It's 2017, I have TB's of hard drive space, let me store tons of saves whenever I want! Thankfully, the actual gameplay makes up for this annoying limited save feature.Don't play Dark Souls Liam. You might get a stroke :D
