I was wondering why this was not available when Day of the Tentacle was.
I wonder no more. Will pick this up as I have never had the pleasure.
Thanks for the port.

I'll be honest, your article sells it a LOT more than the trailer.
May check it out but it did not spark my interest. More like pour sand on the wick.

Quoting: GuestNope. Tries to start, I can see the window , then it dies.Quoting: razing32Not even Civilization 5? Worked for me this morning. Weird.Quoting: gojulArch with Nvidia blob (381.22-4)Quoting: razing32Hmm , If it is DLC I am tempted (provided it is not too overpriced)What is your graphic driver ? For me (debian stretch with nvidia blob) all works fine.
Just too bad none of my Civ games are working recently :(
Are you using Steam runtime or native ?
May need to start it via steam cmd to see what errors i get.

I pre-ordered Kingdom Come , but seems they will drop Linux support . (think there were rumors of employees working without pay for a while - but nothing I could confirm at the time)
Really wondering if I should get an inkling of hope or just pull the plug on any hopes for the game coming to Linux.

Not sure how much this is great news.
I hope they don't split off into another online store.
If they just sell keys , then fine. But it's getting a mess : Steam , GOG , Origin , uPlay , Microsoft Store etc
I REALLY hope we don't end up with each bigger publisher requesting an account on THEIR service to get to play the games. :(

He pointed this out as a good and bad thing.
Yes it is bad we are splitting resources.
But it is also good people have the freedom to fork stuff. Mate and Cinammon are Gnome forks as far as I know.
In my humble opinion unifying will not work , but I could be wrong.
What would be more feasible would be something like a version of POSIX distros adhere to so you know the DE treats a program the same etc.
Just my two cents.

Quoting: elmapulmaybe we should stop doing over 2000 distros and focus on a market that we can actualy grow and make money, then try to strike again at the OS market.I hate to butt-in to the middle of a conversation like this , but , I believe this point was brought up before by Brian Lunduke of "Linux Sucks" (/sarcasm)

Hmm , at one point a Wine update broke my steam client so could not play the original Company of Heroes. Curios how it behaves in this new update.
