Techland haven't decided if Dying Light 2 will be on Linux

They really should be starting out thinking of Linux.
It will be much harder to add it later on from what I've seen of other games that just decide to add Linux support in as a topping.

Quoting: GuestI am actually enjoying playing my old C64 games from a SD card reader on a real C64 so i think i could survive that. I even think of buying myself a real Amiga. Call that a cheaper mid-life crisis than wanting a muscle car of your youth. :D

Although the emulation vs real hardware equation is not the same: On a C64 there isn't much you can do with a mouse on an emulator.

Closer to the topic at hand, i recall the adverts but when friend of mine got their hands on the actual game they said more or less the same thing than the previous posters of this thread. They did not know how to play it properly.
I never had a C64 when i was a kid. My first machine was an intel 386 or 486.
I am surprised how much love these machines get even today. I have seen videos of games that came out last year for them.
Have you heard of the 8-bit-guy and his game Planet X2 ?

Quoting: KelsI remember playing this on the SNES back in the day and thinking that it was one of the worst games I'd ever played. I gather there are a few differences between that and the PC version, but I can't imagine it's much less of a chore to play.

People get nostalgic about the weirdest things.
What made it so horrible ?
I was actually curios about it when i saw it.

Dystopian life sim 'Orphan Age' should be on Linux, currently on Kickstarter

Seems like an interesting idea.
Won't support kickstarters , got burned before.
My only issue is the footage looks VERY Alpha. Nothing there except a few camera angles and models.

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War is coming to GOG and you can pre-order now

Quoting: GuestOnce I can actually download a version that runs for me, aka linux, I'll buy.

I've heard this a lot "Face a challenging AI", I have my doubts. Hope its at least good enough to practice/enjoy.
This mostly looks like a re-skin of Pandora ( http://pandora.proxy-studios.com/ [External Link] ), and I remember the enemies to be quite tough in that game. But always hard to say how much of that is good AI and how much computer cheating ;)
God i hated the religious zealot faction in that game.:><:
They were insane and no other faction would survive them.
They would eventually exterminate all players one by one , myself included.

The Atari VCS team aren't doing themselves any favours by accusing The Register of being professional trolls

This seemed like a cool little console.
But I don't get the hype, Linux machine or not.
And it's not like Atari had a good track record in recent years.

XENONAUTS 2 hit Kickstarter and it's already funded, hopefully coming to Linux

I still remember the first game.
Wasn't it unsupported as it was just a Humble Bundle special for the subscribers or something like that ?

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! had an absolutely huge content update

Quoting: GuestHmm, this is one of the very very few games that don't start on my setup, any workaround ? (nothing appears at all)
Try running it from console and see what errors it throws.
Are you using GOG or Steam version ?
