Liam , you've been following this for a while.
How is the story shaping up ? Does it add a nice framework for the combat and world ?

Driftland: The Magic Revival, a magical strategy game involving floating islands will come to Linux

I recall seeing a youtuber play this at one point , but can't remember who it was.
The game seemed very interesting but I am surprised it is still in Early access.

Unforeseen Incidents is a fantastic point and click adventure now out with Linux support

Quoting: EikeI played through game and met none of the bugs you mentioned. Developers have already released a patch for bugs met by others. If you expect a game not taking itself too serious, it's a strong recommendation from me.
I encountered the bugs yesterday , not some long time ago.
If it was patched it should not have happened.

WARNING:
I did buy this , and while it starts promising it becomes a BIG let down later on.
Imagine the X=Files with a third agent played by Rob Schneider. That's the idiot you play as.
Let's say that's not a deal breaker.
Well , have i got some BUGS for you.
Clipping through enemy bugs that break the puzzle.
Infinite dialogue loop puzzles.
And best of all autosave bugs. I can only think of it as a bug. You have a gun to your character. Say wrong thing you die. Helpfully the game saves in case you die. NOT so helpful , it starts you off in a no-win scenario. Imagine falling to deatho n spikes then being respawned , but right above the spikes.
Buyer beware. SMH

The Underhollow, a Battle Royale-like mode for Dota 2 is live and it's damn fun

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoWhat means "Battle Royale-like mode?

Is like when you say "Rogue-like"... I don't understand the meaning.
It's the PUBG style
Or H1Z1 , Minecraft Hunger games etc.

All these games have their root in a Japanese novel/movie of the same name , Battle Royale , where some teenagers are left on an island. Last one alive wins.
Game idea is this - Every man for himself , get a weapon , last man stadning wins. Gameplay area shrinks over time, if you are cought outside you die.

Paradise lost is like saying there's a knife in the game... Vague as possible. Good job Feral this one is really hard!

Shadow of War confirmed? Lol!
I am almost certain it is Shadow of War, several pages back I posted a youtube clip from Shadow of War of Balrog spawning from lava. Plus Sauron is in this game. Also, someone here mentioned Lucifer meaning "Light Bearer" in latin and Calimbrimbor is also the Bright Lord. I have really been looking forward to this game.
I can guarantee it's going to be Shadow of War. You know why? Because I gave up on waiting for it and started playing it under Windows... This happens EVERY time with Feral's games (except Rise of the Tomb Raider, which I had already gotten, but waited until it was on Linux to play.

My luck...
I solved this problem by removing windows from all my home computers. I have been Windows free for a little over 2 years now.
I probably would have done so already if it weren't for VR. That and the plethora of games I already own, that I don't feel like mucking around with Wine for. Older games do seem to work better under Wine than Win10 though. Warwind 2 for example seems to work great under Wine. It's so old, I'm betting it won't work under Windows 10, haven't tried it though.
I thought I was the only one who enjoed the War Wind series.
Man those games were fun. :)

Quoting: KelsSo you're a smart bunch, having chosen Linux and all. So let me pose a brain-teaser to you.

If I were to buy only one Serious Sam game, which would it be?
Depends what you like.
For me the first and second encounter hold more nostalgic value and I find them more colorful.

You could try BFE for something newer. I just felt the stink of modern warfare shooters on that one.
