This is what bugs me, it reads like a changelog to dom4. Making me think they charge 30.- for an update.
Some things in the changelog sound like they were looking for things to write

Dominion overlay on map to clearly show its boundaries

and then below

Updated user interface with information more clearly presented than before

but then again they close with:

There are many more changes since Dominions 4 that haven't been mentioned here, more information will come later.

The camera really kills it ..

I opened a thread about it, they thought it was fixed:

Awesome looking mech combat game 'BATTLETECH' has slipped into a 2018 release

they say Linux will be supported at the main release, but not during the Beta stages. It's good news that they are so far keeping to their promise of Linux support!

How are they keeping their promise?
Is there any sign of the linux client?
They can still pull the 'technical difficulties' at launch...
