Wine 3.5 is out with their own Vulkan loader and plenty of fixes for games
31 Mar 2018 at 5:45 pm UTC
However, I found out that I've had to delete the Windows folder from my previous generated Wineprefix to have it work. Probably some previous created libraries don't work together with Wine 3.5 and delete the whole Windows folder is the easiest way.
If you have added any registry keys before (Wine-Vulkan), you should remove those as well. Those aren't needed with Wine 3.5 and might create conflicts.

Quoting: GuestSorry to sound dumb, but how do I enable this Vulkan-Loader?You don't, it is enabled by default since Wine 3.5.

Runs absolutely great now, with never lower than 180FPS! Now the game will be more fun as it was already.
Mimimi promised a performance patch after the console release and they have delivered. But it took a long time, the game was released over a year ago.

The Ryzen 3 uses thermal paste (like Intel does on all their CPUs) instead of solder. With the boxed cooler, it will get up to incredible 83°C in Prime (so without even using the iGPU). But granted, it's just $99 before taxes, so this is to keep it that low in price.
But according to this test [External Link] (German | Google Translate link [External Link]) it's wiping the floor with the Intel CPU (especially with the iGPU).
Though, they were not able to get Ubuntu 17.10 with Kernel 4.15 to boot with the Raven Ridge.

Still no update for me. What's this, some kind of lottery? Or was the update only to the DLCs? Because then it's clear why I haven't got any update yet.

CRYENGINE to get improved Linux support

However, that's only for getting your game onto the platform[...]Like there would be any Linux game, based on the CryEngine, at all, right? SNOW had initial Linux support, but it was so broken, that the developers cancelled it and pulled the Linux client back. We should get Homefront: The Revolution, but that's cancelled too. Any other CryEngine game for Linux out there?

Don't forget to wishlist the game on Steam, if you are interested in it. So the developers see that there is demand for a Linux version.

btf stands for Bild und Tonfabrik (Image and sound factory) which is a producer of TV Shows and 2 smaller Point and Click games you probably never heard of. The PnC games they made were in direct connection to one of the TV Shows they produce ("Neo Magazin Royale", a satirical comedy show. The guy in the Video who asks if he is the main character, is the host of that show.).
I haven't played their games, both are not available for Linux, even created with Unity. Who's interested in the games, they are available for smartphones too but in German only, you can download the first one for free: Game Royale 1 [External Link], Game Royale 2 [External Link]. But Keep in mind, if you don't know the TV Show you might not have any connection to the story of the games.
