I agree, the quick time events are terrible and were already annoying in Tomb Raider (2013). I don't have a problem with them to solve after a few tries, but I still hate them. The dodging isn't that hard to me, I think you just need a little bit practise. Beside this the game is great, fun and looks gorgeous.
The performance for me is slightly slower compared to Windows, but still good. The main difference is, that I was able to run the game maxed out with SSAO 2x at stable 60FPS on Windows. On the Linux port the FPS are dropping below 60FPS with the same settings, which is a little bit sad, since there is a lot of flicker without SSAO everywhere (trees, bushes, etc.) and neither FXAA nor SMAA can fix that.
Later in the game there will be pretty big areas which are the most demanding places in the game, will be interesting to see how the port performance is there. But I'm many hours of playtime away of those areas :)

Quoting: liamdaweSorry, missed this bit from the email they sent: "Requires an SSE2 capable processor.".Do they really mean SSE2 and not SSE4? Because SSE2 is on a decade old CPUs while SSE4 just arrived on AMD with bulldozer CPUs.

You mean like with the Linux Kernel, which also only accepts C Code? ;)

Quoting: liamdaweI doubt it's that far off being included directly in Wine.It will get never into Wine, because DXVK is mostly written in C++ and the Wine project only accepts C code. Sorry to burst your bubble :)

1:1 isn't so much fun. Would love to see a 2:2 tournament, 3:3 could be probably hard to fill.

uh......no thanks. Up to date, yes, proprietary, no.
There’s a sliiight chance you may experience performance issues. If you do, please install proprietary video drivers (NVIDIA, Radeon) or Mesa.https://steamcommunity.com/gid/ [External Link][g:1:24311777]/announcements/detail/1662266809368512328

Factorio will have a price increase this month and leave Early Access soon

The game is worth 60€, so even 30€ is still a bargain and well deserved. Most people I know and play Factorio have high 3 digit hours of playtimes on it. Me included :)
Wine 3.5 is out with their own Vulkan loader and plenty of fixes for games
31 Mar 2018 at 5:45 pm UTC
However, I found out that I've had to delete the Windows folder from my previous generated Wineprefix to have it work. Probably some previous created libraries don't work together with Wine 3.5 and delete the whole Windows folder is the easiest way.
If you have added any registry keys before (Wine-Vulkan), you should remove those as well. Those aren't needed with Wine 3.5 and might create conflicts.

Quoting: GuestSorry to sound dumb, but how do I enable this Vulkan-Loader?You don't, it is enabled by default since Wine 3.5.
