Yea I agree, I don't see Helena in competition with Dirk Dashing at all, very different target audiences. And any game on linux helps us all out in spreading the word of Linux being a very capable gaming platform.

Well thank you Hamish, I appreciate that. Man I might need to back out of the last part of that news. The co-op is kind of there, but really needs a lot more work before we could release it. Might have to come after the game is released as a patch. I am thinking about doing deathmatch though, since I think multiplayer car or tank combat on linux would be awesome.

Ah, yea I guess I assumed that anything you downloaded through the software center would work on other distros of linux. Does the Ubuntu Software Center apply some kind of DRM? Anyway, if all that's true, then I guess it really is just convenience, people will pay for that.
