It works fine on my computer.
It's wireless. You're not using it wirelessly right?
I use the Xbox 360 wirelessly with steamos-xpad-dkms (Steam OS xpad implementation for Xbox 360). Not working for me.

I ride a motorcycle. I've had this game for a long time now and enjoy the heck out of it. I just treat it as a silly game, not a motorycle simulation.. Don't try this one at home kids...
Same here! It's a very funny game with three friends :-)

I'm very pleased to see more an more big games being ported to Linux. Unfortunately I neither own a wheel nor an appropriate GPU.

OT: Is there a good casual-arcade racing game on Linux like NFSU or Distance?

The Civilization VI "Summer Update" for Linux will not feature cross-platform multiplayer
25 Aug 2017 at 8:07 am UTC

Sad news, as I'm indeed waiting for cross-platform multiplayer since the Linux release. However, the game is one of the best Linux games around and I'm looking forward to the summer update and its balance changes. Also it sounds like Aspyr is working hard to get the multiplayer bugs fixed. Can't wait to be able to play Civ 6 with some (Windows) friends - hopefully some time later this year.

Anyway, thanks Aspyr for your hard work, I really appreciate it!

Civilization VI for Linux updated with the Spring Update, no cross-platform multiplayer yet

Really..? I can't see, why you actually need to have high fps in a board game like Civilization. Certainly, on low-end hardware, the game is stuttering. However, you don't need a high-end rig to play it properly. I do my "good-night Civ 6 sessions" with playable performance on a i5-4200U + 730M notebook (with integrated GPU it's pretty unplayable though).

Cross platform multiplayer is my most wanted feature. I really love Civ 6, so do my (Windows) friends. Although it is the right decision, I hope it is ready soon.
Thank you Aspyr for your efforts and keep up the awesome work!

Quoting: laghHi,

I haven't bought CIV6 yet and would appreciate some advise
from my fellow Linux gamers:
Is CIV6 worth it compared to CIV5? Do the new features justify
the price tag? What do you think, is it worth a buy?

Best regards,

lagh
I only have about 23h playing time, but in my opinion Civ 6 is great. Some things changed dramatically (e.g. districts, civics and builders), but I really like the changes. If you are a real Civ 5 geek, I'm not 100% sure, if you should upgrade right now. At the moment, Civ 5 is more complex and balanced. If you can get your hands on a cheap license (I paid about 20€ due to a great offer): Get it! It certainly is worth the full price, but in the current situation not a must-buy (especially not until cross-platform multiplayer is released).
