Quoting: AryvandaarWe need the name :)Quoting: musojon74I know someone who could make that happen. Had a nice drink with him in the pub a while back. You know who you are. Most of us Linux peeps are very cool and love your ports
Quoting: AryvandaarIt's not off topic for people to talk about what games they wish had a good port.I would move on step beyond: It's important as a community to discuss within GOL our wishes and aggregate a clear message for the developers, one or two games that would make the consensus (vote in Liam award session? something like "Best desired port") to be argued in lobbying sessions. A sort of kickstarter backward: people would like to see this and that, and deposit a promise to purchase if this is done.
What Linux games are you looking forward to this year? Here's my top picks

If this game will not win a price on GOL award next session, I would definitely state there is no justice in this world :D
As Brandon Smith told: there are places to explore, places to have time to watch the beauty of the "spacescape", time for dog fight, tactic (escape, move the dog fight near ennemy faction of your opponent to get support, adapt your weapons, hide in garbage, cross a mine field àla Han Solo), strategy (resource management, accumulate improvement on your ship to help bypassing hard areas in a next run, use your previous-run destroyed starship to get more weapons and materials, etc.). And the pace changes very quickly so you can experience all those phases in 5 minutes, by fully enjoying each one. A great game for a casual play of 5 minutes to cut ourself from the stress of everyday life. I would say that Everscape is a gem in its optimization of the pace (which is part of the gameplay) : it is a paradox that it is definitely a repetitive game but you don't fell it and annoy you as the things-to-do change at the right pace so you have the perpetual impression of doing something new and each phase is long enough so you have the time to enjoy every phase.
It's not a truly roguelike as you have different ship with different tactic and strategies, with their specific unlockable improvements on weapons, stealth, speed, etc. In fact, there is a pleasure to loot, run after run, new improvements and to cross areas already explored in the (recent) previous runs to move faster further

Quoting: psy-q@tuubi I guess the point of these games is to find the right amount of breaking and turning to sneak into the gaps between opponents, not so much actually doing any driving.yes, considering the title, I was thinking of Chase HQ ^^
@Geppeto35: There's no gangster chasing in it (at least there wasn't in the Android version). Were you thinking along the lines of something like Chase H.Q.? :)
