Although #1 is true, Feral has said more recently that they won't get the money if you play it before it is released for Linux. Unfortunately the Denuvo Drm prevents it from working with proton atm so if you buy it and play it now they won't get the money, Check out the link in my other post.

LIS2 and Captain Spirit both work just fine with new wine, so Lutris winesteam works for both, But if you buy LIS2 now, and play it now they wont get any money for it. I was kicking myself for buying this game at full price a week before it went on sale, but I must say, it was well worth the 60$ and I would say even more so at the 24$ price point it is at now. Best zombie game I think I have ever played, and with all the free upcoming DLC I couldn't really ask for more.
