All Paradox Dev studio game are DRM-free (no idea about game they only publish, decision might be in dev hand), they just stick to Steam [...]
That's the problem, in my opinion. For me, i'd say it's more bad news than good ones. But it's too early, we'll see...

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoJust for curiousity. Can the DRMFREE version of Metro Redux run with this?
Such a shame that the Linux version isn't on GOG... (Like many others too)

Cossacks looks to be a lot more in line with Empire Earth or 0 A.D.
As you speak of Empire Earth, anyone have launched it successfully with wine ?
I recently tried... I'm stuck in the main menu, such a pain, i loved this game.
But i won't install a Windows partition just for that unfortunately.

Need more Serious Sam? Serious Sam's Bogus Detour arrives this summer
10 Apr 2017 at 5:51 pm UTC

It's due sometime this summer, with no clearer date set yet. While they have a Steam page set up for it, they also plan a GOG release too.
I'm afraid that it will be the same thing as "always"... Like a dev release a "little" game on GOG but not their big one(s)...
I really want to have wrong.
And if a dev doesn't talk about it, it's pretty clear for me, like some don't talk about linux versions.

Hammerwatch is a nice game, so it should be the same for this one.

Come on Croteam ! :)
Whilst I appreciate that some Linux gamers like their games DRM-free, I am just happy that a dev such as Croteam thinks Linux is worth the effort. The games are also on sale at a stupidly cheap price on Steam too :-)
Yeah at this moment, i very like their efforts. But stay stuck in Steam system is unpleasant for me.
Unfortunately, i won't buy this if it doesn't come with DRM-Free build, it's principle, whatever the cost.
But, right now, on GOG we only have the originals versions, not even the HD versions as i see, so my question is not useless.
