Honestly, if all I get from that list is Iron Marines, I'll still be happy! :)
I was also looking forward to playing The Last Night, but after a couple of years of limbo, it looks like the studio is struggling financially. Also, I wasn't aware that their creative director, Tim Sorret, was a big gamergate/anti-feminist asshole back in the day, so I've cooled on that one anyway. Wouldn't surprise me if Epic or Microsoft stepped in to make this one happen, but drop Linux and/or Mac support as a result. Shame, because it looked quite pretty, with its bladerunner-y aesthetic.
As for Into the Breach, I don't regret buying it, even if I have to use Proton to play (it's perfect now that the fullscreen issue is resolved by the latest Proton), but the gameplay is just so incredibly unforgiving that I've largely lost interest in it. I've got my money's worth at 30-odd hours, but when you sink two hours into a run, only for it to fall apart because of one-misclick, or one error of judgement, it's not like you can "just have another quick run". I might dip into it a little here and there in future, but it's no Slay the Spire, and certainly no FTL, both of which I have 100+ hours in.

Deep Rock Galactic, a 1-4 player co-op FPS with a destructible environment works great in Steam Play

Quoting: GuestYep, PvE only, there's no player v player here. And you can also solo every mission (naturally that's quite a bit harder at times). What makes this game stand out is that each character really has to work together to get the job done. Four scouts won't have the fire power to stave off a big wave of enemies, four engineers would like find themselves running out of platform gun ammo before everything is mined, four... you get the idea. I like that some duplication isn't a bad thing - nothing wrong with two gunners, for example, at the expense of a scout or a driller perhaps, but it works best when you have a good mix.Quoting: KuJoThis is a PVE co-op game if I'm reading this right. It may not need an anti-cheat which is a lot more needed in competitive PVP scenarios.... works great in Steam Play... until EAC is implemented ...
Sorry, but a burnt child dreads the fire. It´s a multiplayer game and it is Early Access. Remember
SCUM
Paladins
Apex Legends (not Proton, but Wine)
...
I put it on my wish list, though. And I'll keep an eye on it.

Ended up buying this at the sale price after playing it over the weekend for free. It's really engaging. The voice acting is a bit over the top and cringy, but that's maybe because, as a Scotsman, they sound very "fake Scottish" to me. But, hey, they're dwarves. They can have a fake Scottish accent if that works for them.
Great game though. Lots of levelling, perks, classes, equipment upgrades. Nice combat, nice variety in mission objectives. Yeah, I really like it!

EAC compatibility is the last big milestone, at least for the games I want to play - games like Vermintide 2, Strange Brigade and Paladins.
Overwatch will do me nicely for the moment however.

Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääJust bought it for support.Yeah, me too - the number of these articles that Liam pulls out the bag and I've never heard of the game! Insane. At least I can support after the fact, and for less than £2, it's not like I'm breaking the bank.

"Excited to evaluate support"?? I'll be excited to play other games until then, I suppose.
Accidents happen, I guess, but this doesn't sound too cool, really. I wonder what happened.

That's great news. I saw this on Twitter a while back and assumed it was going to pass us by. So innovative. Really looking forward to giving this a go!

Quoting: Whitewolfe80I've already banned them using a filter in Steam's preferences (on the web page). Also, text-based adventures. And "windows", which I don't remember doing...Quoting: GuestVery nice, less crap to clutter the store. Maybe visual novels can be next? :POh if you ban the fap games you'll get the extreme nerd rage from people claiming they have deep narrative strength and gameplay.
