Looks great. Much more accessible than Terraria, I reckon, which I really struggled to enjoy. I'd not heard of this one before.

Liam, dude, that would be epic. You already have a sales banner, but a countdown side bar or similar would be excellent. Is it doable?

It just feels like the snowball is reaching that point in the hill where nothing will stop it now. I think icing on the cake would be Portal 2 from Valve. But it sure seems like nearly every developer and their dog has their engine working in linux now.
I'd like to see more support from Unreal, right enough. What's the script with them anyway? A couple of games have been ported (Killing Floor and Dungeon Defenders), but is there no support directly or something? Do U3 games have to be "worked on" more extensively to support linux?

As I said before, it's an instant sale for me, the moment it becomes available on Steam for linux.

Quoting: DaifukuI wish they ported 2033. I got it in the last steam sale. Now I am not dual booter anymore xD,I played 2033 last year when I was gifted it by a mate. It's absolutely superb. Same mate bought the sequel, the one they're talking about bringing to linux in this article, and raved about it. It's very on rails, but a great story, some nice shooting and loads of polish.

But yeah, true. I'd forgotten you can retract pledges. I was nitpicking, of course. Another fine round up, Munt.

Quoting: Quote from muntdefemsFinish... reading... the article?? Where's the fun in that! :-) I see a link, it's getting clicked, there and then!Quoting: Quote from scaineI'd prefer that you didn't include games into the Biggies section unless they're definitely heading to linux! I spent 15 minutes looking into U55, nearly pledged, came back and read your whole bit on it and discovered that linux isn't happening unless they hit a fairly hefty stretch goal! Close one - nearly wasted my money there... because I can't see them hitting anywhere near the linux stretch, and even if they do, I tend not to pledge to linux stretches any more, unless it's something I'm super-excited by, or the stretch has already been met.But ah, you should always read the entire piece before prancing over your prey. ;) And anyway, on Kickstarter you can always cancel your pledge and no money will ever leave your bank account.

I bought Natural Selection 2 in the Summer Sale on the rumour it was coming out and regretted my moment of weakness. Sure, it looks like it'll happen, and no, I've not even downloaded it, let alone played it since, but I still want (in hindsight) to buy at the moment they launch the linux version, so show (if possible) a spike when they do so.
So yeah, I'm waiting for the linux version of this to appear on Steam and it's a guaranteed sale.

But I'm also not a fan of their cop-out at the end. Basically, they say "even if this Kickstarter works, we might just go to a publisher anyway". So... I'm not sure how to take that. It sounds like they have no idea how much money they actually need to make their game and makes a farce of their "more content" stretch goals.

Defenders Quest 2 RPG/Tower Defence Hybrid Has Been Announced!

I've just bought the first one a month or so ago, and started playing it recently. Pretty tough Tower Defence, and basic graphics, but actually quite compelling. I was disappointed to have hit up AskUbuntu to figure out how to install Air on my various devices just to play this, so the new toolset is welcome. I'd love to see the Defender's Quest mechanic of levelling up the characters (Fire Emblem style) but with a slicker level of polish on the end product.
Great humour in the game too. Looking forward to this one.
Did they not give any indication of a date for release??
