But you already know what the word "beta" means? Did you report your error?

The Steam Summer Sale is now live, lots of goodies

I do not buy a game this time. My library is full of unplayed titles. Because I just do not have time for playing them.

Instead I bought hardware this time. The Steam Controller and the Steam Link-Box have a discount of 55% in the bundle. Both together for under 50€ here in Germany. There I could not resist.

This usually costs the controller alone. And since I had already planned for a longer time to buy the controller, I then used this time the opportunity.

Trying the experimental GCN 1.0 support in AMDGPU
19 Jun 2017 at 9:39 pm UTC

I have the same problem with the purple line (AMD r9 280 (Tahiti). But I had'nt assigned this to the AMDGPU driver. Until now.

A quick google-search with the key-words "purple line amdgpu" found this:

-> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97861 [External Link]
-> https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=196782 [External Link]

The error is due to that AMDGPU not yet supports the HMDI-audio chip that is placed on several of the GCN graphics cards.

I have not tried it myself, but if you turn off the audio support, then this line should disappear.

Pizza Connection 3 simulation and management game to release with Linux support
19 May 2017 at 7:19 pm UTC

Coool! I have played and loved Pizza Connection (Pizza Tycoon in the English-speaking area) on the Amiga (in 1994). This is a long time ago ... but I've played it between again and again with an Amiga emulator. : D

The features described are almost the same as the features of the old Amiga title. For me this is a mandatory purchase! Has also already landed on the Steam-Wishlist. :)

GOG staff state that Galaxy for Linux is being worked on, but still no ETA

https://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/release_the_gog_galaxy_client_for_linux [External Link]

The wish for a linux-client is one of the most voted wishes, but there is happening ... nothing!

I do not interpret a piece of paper with the text "We will develop a Linux client" to hang on the wall as a development of something. And there seems to be no more at GOG. These are dreams and illusions, if not utopias.

I won´t buy any game at GOG until the galaxy-client for linux is released. That´s my personal decision, because i don´t want to keep track of game-updates of my own instead of using an integrated system like the steam-client, which is available for linux. And that's what I wrote in the comments there.
