Is Battletech out of beta for Linux then? I recall some confusion as to whether or not the game was actually released or if the beta builds were just published.

I just snagged overcooked 2 after playing it with some friends over the weekend. That game gets intense!

I wish Feral would hurry up and sell Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Can't buy and give away copies that can't be bought! (My wallet says Take your time feral).

Suffered crashes in CS:GO Danger Zone? They should now be fixed on Linux

Quoting: GuestIt really depends on what time you play. If I play during the day time of EDT I typically have a hard time finding duo or triple player teams. Later in the day after 6pm I seem to find matches fairly fast.
Right, I should have mentioned time zone on an international Website. I am also EDT and am usually unable to find matches ~7:30PM or so. Last night we found one in thirty minutes of total searching. ONE. I don't want to sit around waiting for a match all night so once again we gave up and played Apex since it runs via dxvk/wine currently.

Has anyone else struggled to find a match recently? It's likely down to me playing DUOs but we're talking 10+ minutes of waiting before my brother and I gave up. It's been like this for a few days. I'll try again tonight.

Abandon Ship, the naval combat and adventure game is still heading to Linux

Quoting: Purple Library GuyIs this one of those weird ones where they have a Linux build but don't mention it, or something?
Quoting: drlambLet me take a look as I own the game and get back to you to see if that's still required.
No beta required! It's an 800mb download but it launches right away, pretty cheap atm too.

There was a beta branch at one point you needed to opt into. Let me take a look as I own the game and get back to you to see if that's still required.

Quoting: Purple Library GuySomeday I'll see an age of sail combat setup that involves tacking, wind, trying to cross the enemy's T, using the long nines from longer range to try to shoot away a spar and hamper the enemy's speed and maneuverability, and all that other cool tactical pirate-era stuff. I might even want to time my broadsides carefully with the roll of the ship, to get more distance if I fire as the cannon are angled up, or hole the enemy below the waterline if I fire at close up angled a bit down, although that could get a bit fiddly.
The closest native game we have to what you describe is tempest [External Link] but I'll admit it's not as in depth as you wish.

You can see more of my comments here but I honestly believe Akella's 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean [External Link] and the associated build mod [External Link] is the best purely-pirate rpg ever made. I've had mixed success getting PoTC running under Wine over the years but admittedly haven't tried recently. (DX8 Storm Engine is a b*tch)
