ARC Raiders has seriously exciting gameplay that has firmly hooked me in

Hunt Showdown erasure!?

Arc doesn't scratch the same itches as Hunt does for me but boy is it a blast. Extraction shooters have spoiled the more casual multiplayer shooter games for me. I can no longer do the 50 kills/deaths a match because when you die that much there's no meaning. I need the stressors of "one life" in games like this because the adrenaline rush is unmatched.

Stressing myself out to relax? You bet.

? Maybe on here but the Hunt Discord has a sizable group excited to be able to play one of the 50 most-played games on Steam again.

My biggest gaming regret of this year is purchasing this game (for $70, too!). Played for two weeks after launch and haven't touched it since.

100% an insta buy for me as I run my model train railroad using a Pi-SPROG [External Link] and an overclocked Pi4 at the moment.

It'll probably take a bit for Fedora (specifically the IoT variant) to support the Pi5 but I should be able to swap SSDs over once it's ready.

Edit: Pre-ordered.

Here's how Starfield runs on Steam Deck and desktop Linux

Sections of New Atlantis are the only areas I've seen sub 60FPS @ 1440P maxed out (no FSR) on my system.

Edit: Kernel 6.5 + mesa-git

It honestly has me eying an AM5/DDR5 + 7800X3D upgrade but I think I'll wait for the inevitable performance fixes as the 5800X3D should be able to hold me over until I upgrade my rig for Fable (self-imposed goal).

Game has been rock solid stable for me on my desktop thus far and I've really enjoyed it. Fedora 38 + rawhide kernel (6.5) + mesa-git + Proton Experimental.

Maxed 1440P (no FSR) 75-130 FPS.

Edit: Does dip a bit in cities to the mid 40s, hopefully some performance patches fix this.
