It is interesting to see that the mobile versions of this game were critically acclaimed, whereas the PC version was shot down. Then again, for mobile users, Freemium (Grrrr) produced by Kazam, EA & Co, actually qualify as games, so I guess they don't really have much choice.

Quoting: Quote from HmmmThe game sucks anywayWell I would have agreed about this when the game came out initially, but they have put in a lot of effort to alter the actual gameplay, and they are trying to add content as well. And they are ironing out bugs. The game does not retains all that made the original game great, that is true, but so many sequels suffer from the same predicament.

The genre has exploded: Towns, Dwarf!!!, Gnomoria, Prison Architect etc... I still go back to Dwarf Fortress for old times sake, and it remains by far the most complex and satisfying game.

At last, I was feeling that this may never happen. They made good on their promise. In a way, we will also benefit from starting the game without all the game breaking bugs that plagued this game when it came out on Windows and Mac. I often buy the Gold editions of games for that very reason. Who cares if one plays a game 2 years after it came out?

I love Wine. I hope that Steam will enable wine titles and native titles to coexist. Obviously native ports are what we want, but if Wine can do the job impeccably for some games, resources are best spent elsewhere.
TopWare Interactive are the kind of company I buy titles from. Hopefully, Bethesda will also hear the calling!

I am pretty sure that when you started this blog, you had no idea that one day you would be playing catchup on the games being released on the nix platform!
On my side, I had no idea that I may go broke one day buying all the Linux games, I now have 36 games in my wishlist, will wait for the sales, as buying 123 games for Linux has really taxed me.
Good days are here finally.
Escape Goat apparently already has a sequel which will soon be released.

One thing that I would love is for Steam on Linux to allow integration with Wine.
Of course playing games natively is better (from my steam library of circa 360 games, 142 are Linux games), but for all these games that are not available natively, being able to launch from the Linux Steam without having to load a wine steam instance would be a major step forward.
As for the virus, I hope that this unwanted guest did not feel at home!

Quoting: AnonymousI... want this game. Reminds me a bit on STALKER :D.Must be because they are both Russian games. They manage to have a distinctive atmosphere, a kind of pot pourrie of decay, hope, doom, pessimism, and playing the balalaika around campfires.
