Haha some spending ahead.
Despite these being AAA games, they are three instabuys for me.
That and Rome total war 2, which I will have to buy again, as I am guessing they are the ones behind the port of that one too

Wow this post was like a kick in a hornets nest.
I can be quite dispassionate about the whole thing as I do not play any blizzard games.
I do think that the CEO if blizzard is entitled to run his business AS IT PLEASES Him and the shareholders, management etc.
The response from the creator of the petition was juvenile and non-constructive.
I understand the frustration for people who really want to play wow on Linux but as the editorial team of gol has stated, this is not the right approach.
We are not entitled to games on Linux, we should be thankful and encourage with our wallets developers who do give us a chance.

Quoting: GuestThough most probably don't care it's worth mentioning that you do not get the games, but only steam keys.....I don't care, but more people than you think do care, and buy only via GOG, GreenMan Gaming, Humble Store, Publisher storefronts etc so it is worth mentioning.

I'm not convinced by quite a few of these games, but you can't go wrong for 2 pounds.
That's less than the price of a coffee here in the UK.
10 games, even if you only play 10 minutes should last a long time. Some of my (subjective) views on these games:
Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon - don't know
Stronghold 3 Gold - not good reviews I'm afraid
Revenge of the Titans - excellent game
iO - excellent game
Nam - don't know. retro shooter, might be better off going for Duke Nukem, Blood & al...
Eradicator - don't know
Legends of Aetherus - small indie kickstarter, with bad reviews, describing game as bland. Might still be good to fire it up to experience the steampunk setting.
Sentinel - innnovative tower defense game using audio, has rave reviews.
Terrian Saga: KR-17 - excellent game
Shiny The Firefly - very good game
Basically, at least 4 of these games would be worth AT LEAST £2 pounds on their own, so you are getting a good deal.

Just picked up the game in the sales, and its playing nicely at 60+ fps on full settings.
Would recommend.
Just one thing, you will jump once or twice when robots or humans appear out of nowhere in the dark... Very atmospheric as someone said above...

I just can't buy that game.
I am a grown man, and I refuse to be reduced to a sniveling heap of frayed nerves cowering in a corner of the room.

I finished the game on Linux recently, with ultra resolution settings.
I can't say I had problems, but am happy that this patch will help other people play it on Linux.

Quoting: adolsonQuoting: OZSeafordI think the lesson we need to learn, is that everygame will not get ported to Linux, but game are STILL being ported which is great.Well, they did say it was happening. The lesson, then, is: don't believe it until it's real.
