Great sale!

For small developers though, remember: Full price is the best price! ;)

If you enjoy turn-based combat, Wakfu is another MMO that has been on Linux since forever. It's on Steam.

Quoting: OrkultusGot it to load fine, however i started the tutorial, and right when it was telling how to use WASD to look around in the map, it got stuck and wouldn't stop moving to the lower left of the screen.
Same issue here. I guess the trick is to just use the mouse for now (or forever, depending on if they update it).

Syber discounted their Steam Machine line and most are now sold out

Well, of all the criticisms against Steam Machines, "It costs more than an Xbox One" is one I see often. At the very least this is showing that selling well at discounted prices does have an effect. If HW folks are getting a commission for games sold via the SteamOS store, they might be able to offer these discounted prices more readily.

Hopefully this doesn't mean they sold poorly and that there was only one production run.

Quoting: reaVerNow about the developer who has been hit hard by gamergate, that would be Zoe Quinn. She's known for sleeping with game journalists for promotion of her products or to change their narrative. Just read into the gamergate debacle and you can pretty much leave that to rest. The other integrity lacking person in this debacle would be Anita Sarkeesian who is known for being a manipulative liar.
Also weighing in here, despite this crap being way off topic. I don't know who Zoe Quinn has sex with, and I don't care because it's none of my business, but this "promotion of her products" you speak of never happened.

First up, there is no "product". The game in question here is Depression Quest, a FREE game intended to raise awareness about depression. I have only ever seen one actual review of it and that was a video analysis by Campster. She had nothing to gain from sleeping with anyone for coverage, except I guess to raise more awareness about depression... in which case, yay - ?

That lie was started by a disgruntled ex, who has since admitted it.

Gamergate is nothing but a small hate group with a larger group of gullible shmucks that are easily manipulated into perpetuating their lies and propaganda. It's not a "movement" that is interested in or will ever accomplish anything positive. If you want to give them credence I feel pity for you.

Newbies might also like to know how to install Kodi on their Steam Machine since SteamOS media centre functionality is a bit not-quite-there. :)

Grow Home From Ubisoft Now On SteamOS & Linux

Ok, fine, let's fire up the speculatron and see if we can guess what games will be launching today along with the Steam Machines.

Looking at SteamDB:
- All the Saints Row entries have been quite active today
- Also, Minecraft: Story Mode has been quite busy today (although that's busy every day)
- Looks like Medieval: Total War might well be Feral's next one

Over to you, go!

Next game: Assassin's Creed? Watch Dogs? Far Cry? We can dream! Maybe not too much... lol
Haha, probably none of the above. Grow Home is a Unity game, so "porting" costs are negligible, and it has no uPlay requirement, which would put the kabosh on any of the others getting a Linux port.

Quoting: StianTheDarkDoes it make me a bad vegan to want to play a fishing game? Probably.
No. But what about all the games where you kill people? Catching fish gives you pause but murder and mayhem does not? ;)
Same for me. Killing humans in games I am perfectly fine with, animals not-so-much.
