Humble Double Fine Bundle launches, we were right!

Am I the only noticing how poorly this Bundle has done financially in comparison to most of the the other Bundles? Only within the past few days did it cross the million dollar mark, which is hardly bad but hardly impressive considering Humble Bundles past records. This is more on par with Humble Indie Bundle 1 than anything else.
Could this be a sign of Bundle fatigue? I mean, I grant these games may be a little niche to some people, but they are certainly a lot more well known than many other Bundle titles, and this is first time that they have offered a swath of games from someone who could be called a legitimate video game auteur.

More games will be heading our way!

Looking at some of these and other games, Desura seems to be being used as a staging area to help get some attention and hype for a game before getting it submitted to Steam Greenlight, which if a little demeaning to the service does at least give Desura a little bit of an edge and does give non-Steam gamers the opportunity to try some of these games. I was a little worried that with Greenlight developers might just bypass more inclusive services such as Desura altogether, so all in all I am happy with this result.

Well, to be honest it is beyond my abilities at the moment, which is why I have not been doing it lately. So you feel free to keep the seat warm for me. ;)

Hey, sorry it took me so long to find this, been busy and I did not realize it was a review. All and all it is a pretty respectable write-up, if not quite as verbose as mine. Take that as a compliment if you like. ;)
I would like to get another review done myself, but I have been having an extremely difficult time of it since the turn of the year and have lacked the energy (my gaming has even been fairly anemic). Still, I am currently replaying a certain game in preparation for giving it a write-up, so we will see how it goes. :|

Something about it reminds me of Logic Quests level editor from 1996.

Somehow that comment reminded me of the quote. ;)

Quoting: AnonymousI swear, either you're all doing this on purpose or this site attracts people with no reading comprehension."Which is more likely: that the irrevocable laws of the universe have been broken, or that you are somehow mistaken in thinking them so?" - Penumbra: Requiem.

I have already declined most of the ones I was offerd. To give out the one I do have I would need to find a fairer way of handling it. Well, we'll wait and see who win's Liam's little contest first. ;)

They are primarily doing it to increase awareness of the new Steam versions as well to try and regain some goodwill after the whole Postal 3 debacle.
And if you really want one, I could give you the one I got as part of my Desura purchase. ^_^

These are being given out like candy. The amount of free Steam keys I have been given or offered for Postal 2 borders on insanity. And I am not even going to be using any of them. :P

I suppose they never got around to it. Forgive our Anglocentrism.
