Lenovo are to start shipping Fedora Linux as an option on their ThinkPad laptops

Considering they are using stock Fedora, and some of the laptops listed have Nvidia graphics, I could see that being a problem given the lack of vendor supported FOSS kernel drivers.

I made sure my brother got a ThinkPad with an Intel IGP for that exact reason.

Quoting: GuestBy the way, this archive moved to a new domain and can now be found at https://downloads.dotslashplay.it/resources/unreal-tournament/ [External Link]
I kept a redirection in place, but updating the URL in the article might still be a good thing to do.
I have fixed the link, thanks.

Quoting: KimyrielleI really boils down to creative professions being much more desirable and satisfying than pretty much anything we can do for a living. Let's face it, people rather paint, sing and write than drive garbage trucks or sit in meetings led by pointy-haired bosses.
You can drive a garbage truck creatively. You might break a few traffic ordinances though.

So is this some kind of retro computing talk about the masochistic experience of deliberately using Windows 8.*? :D
Longhorn was the codename for Vista.
You dare compare this beautiful animal to such a thing?

She even has a Longhorn emblazoned on her face.

I won Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force through WINE on Friday and I made it half way through Star Trek: Elite Force II on Saturday again through WINE while waiting for my Longhorn to calve. I am still waiting.

First game ran great as expected, but I am having some crackling audio with Elite Force II which I do not recall from when I played it through WINE back in the day. It is hardly crippling just an occasional nuisance.

"Main Gaming Resolution"
Ah, so it is. Sorry, it has been a long time since I changed my answers, but the PC Info display just says resolution on its own. I guess that is what I am asking about instead.

Technically my main screen resolution is 1680x1050 and my second head is 1024x768. Should we change the question to ask for your primary or main resolution? I can not be the only one with different sized screens.
