Quoting: hardpenguinI wonder what other games might be affected 🙈
I think this is one of the areas where protondb can be really helpful, as you can see which versions of Proton are known to have worked, when the latest is having issues.

Linux and Steam Deck compatibility tool Luxtorpeda gets upgraded in v63

Quoting: mamillerHas anyone tried it? What's your honest opinion?
I think it's great for what it does, I just wish there was a way to somehow automap it to the games it supports. You have to explicitly set it as the compatibility tool for whichever game(s) you want to use it with. That's not really a Luxtorpeda problem, though - it's the same for Roberta, Boxtron, etc.

Quoting: udekmp69I don't own this, but from what I have read this has to be one of the worst PC ports in a very long time. Which really says something. This is a technical mess that might not be fixed for a very long time.
Sounds like what happened with Arkham Knight; that got released right after Valve started offering refunds, and it got put to use quite heavily. But if you look at it now, the recent reviews are overwhelmingly positive - so let's hope this game has the same result in the end.

Quoting: PhlebiacI restarted Steam and got 12 downloads, which look like some of the usual culprits, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider. So not sure if it had the desired effect for me?
A few days later, I'd say the downloads are still frequent, but they do seem a fair bit smaller.

It has no Steam Deck rating yet from Valve.
For what it's worth, I'm currently playing it on Steam Deck. As someone else mentioned before, the touch screen lends itself well to these types of games.

I think I'm going to look into testing it out and seeing if it can boost a few problematic games soon.
I look forward to the results!

Quoting: Purple Library GuyPresumably even if they get them working these would play a bit . . . weird on a desktop unless you had a touchscreen.
Could be great on a Steam Deck!
