Quoting: MohandevirI was able to rip my whole Wii library from my old scratched DVD's.
Got any tips on good tools for that? Does it require anything special hardware-wise? (I think there was some console platform where there was a specific model of DVD drive that would be able to properly read them, but I don't remember details.)

Quoting: BlistoAlso note that the ANV MR hasn't been merged yet. It's been sitting for 9 months.
The Aggressive Nano Virus Mega Replicator? I can see why they'd hesitate to merge that.

No, seriously, what's an ANV MR?
ANV = Intel Vulkan driver (supposed to be short for Anvil, I guess?). MR = merge request, for the patch that adds the new code.

@Liam, you could try the negativo17 repo for Nvidia drivers (I've used it for years); it's got the 525 driver.

Humble Choice for December includes Wasteland 3 and GreedFall and other deals

FWIW, Backbone was supposed to have a Linux native release (broken Kickstarter promise):

The original demo had a Linux version, and was well received. The final game was widely panned for deviating from the original gameplay, so it wasn't just the Linux backers who were upset with what got released.

Wasteland 3 was also a crowd-funded game, and they delivered on their promises, despite being swallowed up by Microsoft. Since I already have it, GreedFall is the main game of interest here for me, and I'm not sure if it's worth it? It looks like it has sold in the ballpark of $8 previously.
