I almost never win in local multiplayer, but it is still a quite fun game. I make up for it by almost always winning in speedrunners though.

Some of the advantages of dosbox version:
Overall I think corsixth is easier than the dos version of theme hospital. Last time I really played corsixth was before they had implemented epidemics, but the bullet points above are verified against their TODO list [External Link].
- Bonus levels where your only objective is to kill rats
- Not all level configuration parameters are implemented
- Comparison with competing hospitals
- Spawn rate of patients based on reputation
- Multiplayer
- Better operating theater, dna fixer, scanner

Both CorsixTH and Theme Hospital in dosbox are fun, but I would still say that the original in dosbox is slightly better. Corsixth is getting close though.

Got my beta key, it already works on linux :) I had my raft break multiple times, and I had it flip around multiple times as well. It is a bit getting used to, and it could do a bit more of a tutorial. Game mechanics are fun though. In make sail you sail between islands in strong winds, in raft there isn't much wind, but there are other dangers, so they are quite different games.

Ark took forever to update after download for me so I deleted it from my harddrive. It will probably be reinstalled at some point, but not now.

There is a free demo [External Link] if you don't know if you will like it. It is quite limited compared to the full version though. Full version is mostly generated infinite world based on your generation parameters, while the demo is the first two levels of a campaign factorio also has. The campaign has limited land and teaches you the most basic things.

Quoting: scaineI wish they'd just release it. It was slated for early/mid 2017 and we're at the end of the year and they're still firing out EA updates.I see factorio's early access as something like continuous development, and not a measure of quality. In my opinion it has been release quality for years, beating many of the games that have been released, sold, and stopped being updated. If you like it today, then you will probably like it in two years also. Playing it now won't ruin it for you. If you don't like it today then you are likely to not like it in two years either. You might want to stay away from the experimental versions if you want a fully polished game though. It will take some time before 0.16.x is marked stable.
To be fair, I did crumble and buy Oxygen Not Included in EA, and it's amazing. But I don't want to ruin this, Rimworld, or the many other titles I'm waiting to spend money on if they'd only just hurry up and release their product!

Personally I hate manual testing, but I think they should have spent a little time setting up an environment for automated testing. They can then write some simple tests to detect differences between the platforms. Water is broken? Setup a scene with the same textures and light settings and render it on all OSes. If it doesn't look the same or at least very similar, then you know it is still broken.

Any game that doesn't work properly on dual monitors isn't worth playing, but running it windowed is an acceptable workaround.

I don't know how the game balance is, but I much rather meet a wolf than a moose when I am out in nature in real life.
