I wonder when they are going to show platform support on games on the wishlist. The problem with adding non-linux games to wishlist is that when you look at the wishlist you have to open the store page of the game before you see if it has linux port or not.

Quoting: MohandevirConsole pc should be targeted to console users and the typical console user doesn't care about upgradability that much. This Dell and Zotac nailed it but the price tag... Ouch! Way too expensive. This is why I have the feeling that Valve is in a much better position to offer a cheaper solution partnering with AMD and, if it is not enough, sell it under cost. Afterall they already got the games catalog to absord the loss. PC gaming, as a whole, would benefit from a successfull Steam Machine campaign. The money from selling under cost has to come from somewhere. For consoles it comes from the pricier games. If valve did the same with steam machines, then I am afraid the price of all steam games would increase, which would be bad for everyone except Valve.

I don't think fallout 1 explained money either, although in fallout 2 I found the in-game explanation from the elder good enough and fallout 2 generally was easy enough to grasp to not require playing fallout 1 first. I didn't try fallout 1 until years after I played fallout 2. Fallout 2 has a much improved game engine, although the story might be better in fallout 1.
It does not make sense for the main character in atom rpg to not know about money so it does not make sense to explain it to the character. I think it would be best to include those things in a skippable tutorial before the scene where you are robbed since the explanation itself is out of character knowledge, and it is annoying to need to replay the tutorial each time you start over. That being said I think the robbing scene should be skippable too.
Fallout 1/2 dealt with the outsides of the map by not allowing you to scroll further than what they had basic graphics for. Generally there were not too much to see outside the map, mainly plain ground, and it had limited scrolling. Also not allowing rotations made stopping you from scrolling too far easier.

I am Norwegian, but I run most of my software in English, including steam. I assume linux users are more likely to pick English over their native language than users of other platforms.

I just watched a 50 minute let's play video of this game. What I have seen of the lore is promising, and the NPCs seem like they have interesting dialog. I am disappointed in the choice of using squares in the grid and not hexagons or similar in combat. I wonder if they have explained the reason for that somewhere.
Both graphics, combat and dialogs reminds me of fallout 1+2. Those games are quite good, and are still among the best games ever made even they graphically look old. I do think I would prefer combat based on the system of fallout tactics or the cancelled van burren over f1+f2 though.
I will definitely buy it, but I am not sure if I will buy it so early, as me playing it now might take away from the experience of the game when it is finished.

Quoting: GuestIt is not obvious that they don't have any DRM-free version. I checked my humble library and I found multiple games that have drm-free copy on humble, but not on gog. This include "and yet it moves" and farsky. I also have copy of goat simulator: goaty on humble, but I cannot see if that is drm-free downloadable copy or a non-steam copy with drm.Quoting: KetilHumblebundle is my favourite store for games on linux offering DRM-free builds on lots of games, and steam keys as well. That is the best of both worlds. On the other hand GOG has disappointed me a lot by not offering linux versions of games that are available on steam (although humble does not seem to offer drm-free build either), and using too long to approve updates from the developers. I don't buy any linux game on gog any more, only old games. I like the idea behind itch.io so I might start using that more though.Sorry, but what nonsense is that? Those games quite obviously do not have any DRM-free version, but are steam-only. GOG is a DRM-free shop. There is no way those games would ever show up on GOG, and that is not GOGs fault, but the one of the developers. Do you expect a vegetarian shop to sell pork sausages?
Humble used to be my main source of games as I only buy DRM-free. Such offers got less and less, so I switched to GOG as primary source. I'll keep my account, and will continue buying at Humble if they deliver what I want. So for sure I'll get this bundle! (Only for 11.99 though, the steam-only $12-tier is useless for me....).
