Possible. It had something to do with the allocation of large memory pages. If those were effectively allocated by the nvidia driver, then it could be that. It may have been other combinations of hardware though.

yeah i thought is was something like this as when i went multi-process in Firefox a few months ago thats when the process 'Web Content' starting showing on my system monitor and mucking things up.

That was a kernel bug that Ubuntu introduced by incorporating patches from an unreleased kernel into theirs. Apparently Mint happily copied it. After it being in there for three months, it was finally fixed recently.

There is no real need for a demo if you use steam. You can refund the game for any reason if you haven't played longer than 2 hours. So enough time for trying the game.

I actually just started a thread in the forums about this game as I couldn't find a thread on it.

I think it's a excellent game and it's now just been released on XBox One, which is how I found out about it

It's so refreshing to play such a simple and enjoyable game

I could never get on with the Micro Machines POV I much prefer a more 'classic' POV of titles like Mantis Burn Racing or Table Top Racing

Please forgive my ignorance;

Will this update be coming to the Steam desktop client? And if so, will I be able to use the non proprietary drivers which are not the Mesa ones?
