Quoting: calfretI get a weird line while watching Youtube on Chrome. I suppose this is screen tearing? I wonder if this driver might fix that? My system is still on kernel 4.8 something. Maybe if I get the latest kernel and this new driver my performance will improve. You can turn on V-sync in the settings which should stop that I would of thought

got the game yesterday and the shooting mechanics are spot on, very much like Geometry Wars 3 i simply cant fault them. plus your right about the art design; very very good.
a real joy to play, just hope i can make it a little further next time as i didn't use my shield enough and thought it was a great idea to kill everything on the level, the result: no ammo and very little health = death :-)

Quoting: Ehvisyeah i thought is was something like this as when i went multi-process in Firefox a few months ago thats when the process 'Web Content' starting showing on my system monitor and mucking things up.Quoting: UltraVioletcool, this bug only effects nvidia hardware? i have the same set up with a amd card and have had no problems with FireFox everPossible. It had something to do with the allocation of large memory pages. If those were effectively allocated by the nvidia driver, then it could be that. It may have been other combinations of hardware though.

Apparently Mint happily copied it. After it being in there for three months, it was finally fixed recently.

Quoting: operaThat's a good point, thanksQuoting: UltraVioletIt does look realy good, I hope there is a demo though as if it's crazy hard I'm not interestedThere is no real need for a demo if you use steam. You can refund the game for any reason if you haven't played longer than 2 hours. So enough time for trying the game.
Lets hope it's not crazy hard

I actually just started a thread in the forums about this game as I couldn't find a thread on it.
I think it's a excellent game and it's now just been released on XBox One, which is how I found out about it
It's so refreshing to play such a simple and enjoyable game
