The Frostbite engine apparently has partial Linux support but that doesn’t mean we’ll get ports anytime soon

Johan (and other developers at Dice) has been active members in the development of Vulkan (based on his experience on running the Frostbite Engine on Mantle). I would assume that Frostbite can actually run on Vulkan, though perhaps not fully optimized, etc.

What have you been playing on Linux lately and what do you think?

Me, my girlfriend and a friend are playing Left 4 Dead 2 since a couple of years back, but since a month or so, we've started playing Payday 2 as well.

Ballistic Overkill to get Vulkan support tomorrow and lots more

Quoting: iskaputtCan this be bought on steam and then played without the steam client? Nothing 32-bits to ever touch my system.
Why would you then buy it on Steam? The Humble Bundle Store has the game, and I assume it is downloadable without Steam (it usually is).

Otherwise you can use alternatives to Steam, like itch or Lutris or some other that supports 64-bit natively.
