My biggest fear with subscription services is that I'm not sure if it is actually viable for smaller developers.
It all depends on the contracts with the given platforms, obviously - but since those tend to be very hush-hush...
Unless leaked like Epic's, of course.

Great news. I always found the UI fairly prohibitive when trying to get into Vicky 2 (and that is after being familiar with EU4 and HoI4) - here's to hoping they'll make it all a bit more accessible without removing depth.

And no mess at launch like Imperator, please.

I'd really hope that's just spare change for whoever does that cause otherwise it seems like a really damn stupid thing to do.
KS is always throwing money at a dream with the slight chance it might actually come to fruition.

To be fair, why would they?
If I was still a Windows-only user, I'd have no idea, either, because it would be pointless for me to even check that.

I only got into Linux because I was forced to for some work-related stuff.
And then noticed it's actually way better for me than Windows, so I switched.
