Nice, it is indeed available now. Odd that this happens always minutes after complaining

I assume they still haven't fixed the bug/idiotic design that shots which hit your allies turn them hostile towards you so that whenever you try to aid an ally you actually end up at war with them.
Oh my…

* That's only temporary - just leave for a while
* Watch Your Fire!
* Does iirc not apply for OOS fights (no friendly fire computation)

Vulnerability found in GRUB2 bootloader, nicknamed ‘BootHole’, compromising Secure Boot

Quoting: soulsourceThe complaint was not about UEFI in general, but about the Secure Boot feature. The idea behind Secure Boot is not stupid, but that Microsoft is the only trusted issuer for keys is at least questionable from a market perspective.
(I am well aware that all UEFI implementations should allow custom trusted keys to be added, but let's be honest: How many mainboards ship with firmware that really exposes this, and how many users even know about that feature?)
Ok, got it :D

It's a miracle what a bunch of actual sentences can do.

I mean it's not like people _have_ to use Twitter style comments everywhere

Quoting: scaineI think the irony is that it's meant to be "secure". Also, it was touted by MS for consumer laptops for "security" reasons, but in reality, putting the marketing BS aside, it just made Linux harder to install. This further solidified (as if that was needed) their monopoly on consumer O/S hardware.
Ah… nope. That's BS. Sorry :) There is more to UEFI.

I can agree on that not everybody needs this.

Heh, while awesome I highly doubt that anyone here uses TC and has a Chain Of Trust implemented (or even uses the TPM chip in any way even if one could and it's usually just sitting there waiting for You )

Thanks for sharing tho. Totally my alley :)

Synergia is a vibrant cyberpunk visual novel that stands out and it's available now

Not much into visual novels myself but I like the art of this very much. It's cyberpunk, a genre I like, and it also displays freakin trigger control and that tells me a lot about it's artist and attention to detail so yeah - curious for the story now 👍

Quoting: Purple Library GuyExcept it seems from numerous posts here that it is in fact often very difficult to turn off. And people are also claiming there is often a lack of alternatives. Given which, no, getting mad that it exists is getting mad that other people's preferences are being enforced and one's own preferences made needlessly unavailable.
I'd like this twice but since this is not possible have my lame comment here too :)
