A thought occurs.
Since they are developing a MacOS version too (crazy! right?), there should be a reasonable financial incentive for it. If they don't make any money, why do it? Good Samaritans are like unicorns and we all know it. :S:

Are MacOS sales really worth anything? Are they worth MORE than the Linux sales? :S:
I mean even Apple seems to consider gaming in MacOS to be like 'eh, whatevs'. Maybe there could be close to zero effort to bang out a MacOS version once the Linux port is done? I really don't think so, but I have no real insight here.

Quite interesting if we could hear what Feral has to say about this.

Yeah, I figured that might be a more correct assessment. Pass for me, cheers! :)

I still wonder how Feral makes any money from this.
The number of Linux purchases vs. the cost of porting a game... does it even add up to breaking even? I'm deeply concerned we'll get a statement in the not too distant future from Feral about how the sales aren't motivating the effort, plus "you guys have Proton now, cheers"

Quoting: GuestDude, total wars games are just arcade "gather your 3d blobs and send them upon the enemy 3d blobs" games... There is no thinking in them.
Huh, really? That sounds like my kind of RTS!
Too much micromanaging gives me mental cyber-cancer. :)

EMBRACE. EXTEND. EXTINGUISH.

While talking about this in relation to another recent well known multi billion dollar M$ acquisition, Bryan Lunduke explains this specific M$ agenda to a point.

While I don't dislike the article in itself, I don't like the situation that prompted its creation. Another dev bites the Linux bullet because reasons... :(

Maybe we should have another reaction button to "sadly agree" with articles? I feel the "like" heart isn't really working in this situation. Something like a crying Tux...? Dangit, I'm making myself sad here.
