I just came back from an update and reboot (since I updated the kernel) on my ArchLinux machine, and got a black window on Steam. Found this article, switched to Steam beta, and it works! Good looking out, as always, Liam.

This is the first time I've seen AMD ahead of Nvidia! The times are changing. Maybe next time I need to buy a GPU, it'll be AMD. What a world.

Nice. I hope they work out all the kinks I saw streamers run into on Windows release day. I'm excited for this news.

I have over 1200 hours in Factorio and I love city builders. I want this so bad. Please don't fail us!

The working Linux demo was the reason I backed this. I really hope they don't back out of the support. I can't help myself to back any JRPG that boasts Linux support forefront.

It is nice to see it spelled out, though. I hate seeing "PC" and then nothing else describing the operating systems supported.

"PC (Windows, Linux), Mac"Still not really right, though. If the definition of "PC" they're using is IBM PC Compatible Clone (i.e., x86 architecture), Macs are also PCs since 2006. The whole "Macs vs PCs" marketing scheme predates the Intel switch.

Hey, I'm almost internet famous. I started that discussion.
I always search games forums and +1 whenever I see a game I want on Linux, and Kynseed didn't have a thread for it so I started one. In hindsight, I should have included "Linux" in the title, but it seemed to have gained enough traction, I guess.

How disappointing. Why do they expect the chicken to come before the egg? If everyone supported Linux, Linux would be a much larger target audience. I can't even imagine how many potential Linux gamers are playing on Windows because of the lack of support.
