If it happens, I hope they choose Debian as the new default supported distro.

Not really a fan of the RedHat distros.

Just hope Proton can get a better support for SKYRIM SE in the future.

There are still some sound issues and excessive video ghosting when rotating the camera on open environment ambient.

Quoting: GuestJust got the base game, is on discount. 75% off on Steam.
I've read something about how it became a spyware as stated in the new EULA, and i don't understood well if they changed it.
Anyway, i'm running it through "unshare -n" to be sure it doesn't do any network traffic.
Hi, should I put this "unshare -n" on Steam launch parameters? Or in the OS command line?

I have been asking about Skyrim because the SE version has some issue in my machine.

Besides the famous sound instability, I noticed heavy ghosting when rotating the camera.
My monitor is crappy (4ms response I think), but other games run way better (in terms of image ghosting).

Quoting: GrabbyOh man, I can't wait. We are finally getting robotics parts in the stock game. Which means we can finally tuck complex structures inside fairings at launch, like planes with deployable wings or whatnot. Not to mention rotors, that's going to allow for all kinds of helicoptery contraptions. Stratzenblitz, Matt, Scott, Turbo Pumped and the other Youtubers are going to be all over this.
I just hope that electric motors consume a fair amount of energy, otherwise we are going to see too many electric airplanes.

I believe that the best launch system for EVE will become an electric airplane+rocket stage (to get easier through the thickness part of the atmosphere).

There is a very easy solution for all this:
Support SteamPlay Proton.

I know there are issues with anti-cheats, but I bet that dealing with those companies (anti-cheat producers) would be much easier than dealing with Unity3D.

Many games already run much better on Proton.
If there was a group of developers put together from different companies in a joint venture to significantly improve Proton support, that would mean the end for needing native ports. Everybody would be happy with more games to play and a broader audience to consume.
