The game seems more stable now. Got to the end of a wargame without the game crashing on me, this was the main reason i stopped playing it. Looks great, will definitely be paying this game more attention.
You can now easily run the Epic Store on Linux with Lutris, Epic suggests applying for a grant

Quoting: TheRiddickImagine a world if everything was just vulkan... it be amazing. I always cringe when a developer goes DX12 only,.and the graphics card to go with it..... :)
To date I haven't even tried VR, I want my first experience to be with nothing less then Pimax 5k+ level headset which is pretty good I hear (was a bit rough at start).
Unfortunately I will need to find a spare $2k under the lounge or something first.. could be a while...

While I hold reservations about this possible future like many of you here. My immediate worry is about trying to keep net neutrality rolling and a free internet. I would hate to seen valve lobbying to end net neutrality.
Valve's Steam Play should work better today, as DXVK was left in debug mode causing a performance drop

I'm running amd rx480 open source mesa drivers and can confirm that the launch options work. Got this game free with the graphics card. Never thought I'd play it. :)

They seem to have pushed an update that breaks vulkan and causes graphical issues. launch options "%command% -force-opengl" is a work around for the moment.

I like the new mode. The UI is very clumsy and after death is annoying, but a little polish should fix that. Still desperately needs new maps. 'Rounds' in the wonderdome is a waste of time.
