Hm. Clicking the game's image on the home page should take you to the game's page here:

There's a Buy Now button near the top left corner of that page.

I understand. Thanks for commenting!
I'm a Linux user too, and have supported Linux versions of my games for 7 years. In fact, Dirk Dashing was actually the very first game I released on Linux, and it received a lot of press back then. Now Steam gets all the press! haha! But that's ok - I'm just glad to finally see a lot of great new games coming to Linux.

Nikki and the Robots is to be stopped due to low sales

Larger games like those cost more to make, in terms of both time and resources, especially for an indie. Puzzle and platform games are a bit cheaper and easier to make - especially nowadays, when people seem to only want to pay a dollar or two for a game. At that price, all I can afford to make anymore are Pong clones.
Still, I've been considering making a RPG. People seem to be willing to pay more for those. But I'm concerned about the time it would take me to make the kind of game I want to make. It takes me 2 years just to make a single Dirk Dashing platformer game!

I agree more promotion might have helped, but it seems to be a lot harder for indie games to get exposure these days - at least in my experience. They might very well have been submitting their game to various sites, like I have, but running into the same result I have been - nobody wants to report on my games.

Quoting: KIAazeBut the main thing I'm surprised about, is that they never got onto Desura, except for a small announcement there, i.e. no game page.Releasing on Desura might not have helped their sales. My Dirk Dashing and Rick Rocket games have had minimal sales on Desura, despite generally positive comments and reviews.

Not exactly a sale, but my Dirk Dashing 2 game is now available for half-price $9.99! And it should be available on Desura very shortly (just noticed that all the files I uploaded have been approved, so it should be added to the release queue soon). Of course, you can get it direct from www.dirkdashing.com without waiting!
Edit: It's now available on Desura! http://www.desura.com/games/dirk-dashing-2-evil-eye [External Link]

Kairo an atmospheric 3D exploration and puzzle solving game

Hooray for another Linux release!
The concept reminds me a bit of Grappling Hook by Speed Run Games. I love exploration and puzzle solving - I wish the trailer showed more interaction with the game world. Mostly what it shows is walking around. I'd love to be able to see what players can do with the environment (like some sample puzzles and how you solve them).

Cute, though the graphics are very primitive. When people complain that they wouldn't pay more than $2 for Dirk Dashing 2, I should point them to this game. "Here's what $2 gets you. If you're happy with that, cool. Otherwise, stop whining about my $10-$20 platformers."
Sorry, just a little bitter about some of the lame comments I've been seeing about my games lately...
